WOW!!!!!! What a let down. We drive from Indiana to eat here. In the past we have always gone to the original. Always been great. We came to the Maumee location. Where to start...... 6 people working behind the counter and arguing. Paying more attention to drive through then dine-in. Food was COLD. They never told me when my fries were done I had to go back and ask by then they had sat and got cold. The hot table with the food is a mess. The girl making the dishes was dropping different foods in other dishes of food. Then she went to replace the cabbage rolls and it was to heavy so she spilt half of it in another foods pan. Cashier was so rude. Asked about rewards. Which we have and my wife gets text all the time. Tells us well your not in the computer. Food was good other then cold is why they got the 2 stars. What’s sad is this name has built up over the years and then when they try to help people by opening other locations the employees don’t care and WILL TEAR DOWN that good name. I hope the owners wake them up. Won’t be back here. Will have to go back to the main location. What’s sad is we were going to order more food to take with us. But after seeing how the food is cross contaminated we decided not to. Oh well their...

The saving grace is the food tasted acceptable, less so was the fact that they poured the chili all over the holder and bumped it when they slammed it down all over the handles of the silverware and the employee says to the other “you made a mess with their food” and the other responds with “I know” and laughs as opposed to cleaning it. Went to use the soda dispenser and the top/spout to the dispenser wasn’t on so it went all over my hand. Didn’t warm up the strudel like I had asked either and the response I got when I asked was “we don’t do that”. Aaaaaaand last but surely not least my roast beef in my sandwich was cold, because they put it on the steam table late I’m guessing, if it’s not ready then don’t serve it, if your not ready at open then don’t open. That simple. I will admit this is my first time coming here and leaving with a sour taste in my mouth, but it really rubbed me...

1st time coming in on April 7th 2023 around 7:30pm - 8pm. Firstly it took forever to get our order, but I could tell they were busy, so I won't discredit too much there. The service was okay, no one was rude or anything, but I could tell they were stressed and rushing to help everyone. The cleaness of the restaurant wasnt the greatest, but again they were busy and I did see someone grabbing the used dishes, so I know it would be cleaned eventually. The prices of the food were okay, but the quality of the food is where most of my issue comes from. I order the chicken paprikas. It's was cold, so I know it wasnt fresh and it was bland. Pepper and tabasco couldnt even save it. Didnt even finish it. Later on in the night, it made my stomach hurt and I was glued to the toilet...my bf got the chicken sandwich and fries which were also just mediocre. Probably won't be eating there again...

The Packo's fare we all know, in a fast cafeteria setting. It basically replaces the Packo's Express that was in the nearby Anderson's store that closed. Bright and basic setting with some Packo's-centric art on the walls (old-timey photos and and ads) to break up the strip-mall sterility. Paprikash was as usual tasty and filling, though it seems to be getting blander lately. The hotdogs are hotdogs. The sweet, then spicy, pickles will sneak up on you. Main complaint, and why I gave it four stars instead of five, is that a cold-air vent blows down on the center tables, not conducive to enjoying food meant to be served up hot. EDIT: Thanks for the reply, below. I stand corrected ... but as far as sitting down to eat at the new Packo's Maumee: Fix that dang vent and you can call your dogs whatever you want.

While traveling thru Ohio, we were advised by a friend to try Packo’s. With only a little time, we were able to get off route 80 and easily get to the Maumee location. The order taker Abigail was very patient explaining the options. Kailyn also helped us decide the sides and prepared our order. Very good teamwork behind the counter! Everything was delicious! Hot Dog with everything, and Roast Beef, with Mashed Potatoes with lots of gravy slathered on. The gravy is so good we asked for a spoon to get every last drop. The whole experience was great, and we will make Packo’s a part of every trip past Toledo. Thank you!

I enjoyed the hot roast beef sandwich and mashed potatoes. But since it was Tuesday, the special is $2 for a Packo Hungarian Hot Dog, so I had that too!! Love coming home to visit family, and then to enjoy Tony Packos is a happy bonus!! The restaurant was clean, you bus your own table at the end, which I find weird, because how do they clean up the tables in between customers if you have to clear your own dishes?!? That's why I took 1star away, I don't believe that's very sanitary, but I carry my own sanitizer for my own safety and sanity.
