I went here for the first time today and I absolutely loved it. The food was great, everything was reasonably priced, the drink selection was great, the atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting, the place is very clean, the music selection was perfect for the atmosphere, and the service we received was outstanding. The menu is smaller, but still has options for almost everyone (the vegan option sounded amazing) and the quality of the food we ordered was superb. You never really know what you're getting with bar food, but this is probably some of the best bar food I've had in Milwaukee, especially at the price point. The bartender we had was also wonderful. She refilled our waters and sodas without us having to ask, she joined our conversations in a very fun and non-intrusive way, she was very welcoming and open, and just generally great at her job.
This is a far cry from the establishment that used to be at this location. So if you're skeptical at all based on the prior business, give it a chance and you'll be happy you did. I will absolutely be going back- the friends I went with said the same - and I can't wait to bring more...

I was hesitant at first due to the atmosphere and loud early 2000's R&B, but I was pleasantly surprised. The bartenders, Grace ans Nigel were very nice and attentive. The drink deals were great, and the food was fantastic. Also, ALSO, they have GLASS ketchup bottles! French fries 8.8/10 Siracha honey wings 9.0/10 Siracha honey chicken sandwich 9.3/10 Quite possibly the best chicken sandwich I've had north of Kentucky. If you're in the Deer District, consider catching the game here. .
For the shamrock shuffle. They did not adhere to the agreed upon drink prices. The bartenders claimed they "were not apart...

The name serves a dual purpose as it stands for Local Pub (LP) as well as a reference to the building's past as a record store (LP was a type of record that stands for long playing or long play). I dined at the restaurant as part of a wedding rehearsal dinner, and they had a BYO burger bar. The potato bun was soft, perfectly chewy, and had hints of potato and butter. As for the smash burger patty it was pleasantly crispy but still juicy. Staff were attentive and friendly. Doughboy approved! Only reason for four instead of five is no premium or out of the box toppings (cheese curds, macaroni and cheese, fried egg, etc..) were...
