This beautiful establishment seems like it could have so much potential to do better with more workers and faster service. Enter the building through the parking lot side. During my visit we walked in due to no reservations being taken over the phone or online at the time. We had a party of 10 and a party of 3. There was an hour wait for 3 and 1.5 for 10. We ended up getting seated for 2 tables for eight after waiting a hour and 15 minutes and was told it would be another 30 minutes for the table of 10. They did not have enough servers for the crowd on a Saturday night. Our server did the best she could, we could see her forehead sweating but she definitely needed some help coving 2 different sides of the restaurant. We ordered about 9 drinks that ended up getting mixed up when they were brought out by 3 people at once. The drinks tasted good but I’m not a fan of tequila it gives me a headache. She did provide us with shots while we waiting about 45 minutes for food to come out and the food came over 1 hour later after the drinks. I really had lost my appetite by then. We were finally served the salmon alfredo (tasted great, but no garlic bread is provided) first, then wings(were good), then cheese fries (was not great, maybe real queso would be better instead of nacho cheese) and the spinach dip (was not good) came out last which is usually first at other restaurants, she may have forgotten about it. It was a bit ghetto due to them being unorganized and someone irate customer pulling the fire alarm causing the alarm to go off for about 25 minutes while the fire department came to shut it off. There is a shared bathroom toward the front of the building that needed cleaning. I may decide at a later date to give this place another try hopefully they will have it together by then so that I can improve my rating.

Found the entry to the lounge confusing from the outside but found it nonetheless. A lovely pink ambiance and vibe to chill and relax. The atmosphere, the colors, and the decor fits perfectly with the S'Lush: pink, pink, pink-everywhere, white flowers on the wall, pink neon signs, swings by the bar, the bar itself, the river, the view—everything. We arrived at 11pm, no more than 10 minutes later, the waiter announced last call. We weren't aware of this until the waiter brought our drinks out (in plastic cups compared to the glass cups I've seen posted—very disappointing). *** Note—for a full-on experience with your time here, I recommend arriving a few hours early as they stop serving between 11pm-12pm. *** We were seated in a booth by the entrance, blocked by the seat panel, which blocked our entire view of the lounge. Unsure why we were seated there when there were more than enough seats available at that time. Luckily, our waiter allowed us to move to a different table. After finishing our drinks, we walked around the lounge. Truly serene and calming by the water. ☆☆☆ stars for now. We plan to come back, of course, since we only stayed for an hour; next time by 8pm.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday at this wonderful spot, and it exceeded every expectation! The atmosphere was absolutely charming—vibrant yet relaxed, with a perfect balance of energy and tranquility. The staff went above and beyond, making us feel like VIPs from the moment we walked in. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made the experience special. The space itself was beautifully designed, creating a welcoming environment that was perfect for families and groups alike. The food and drinks were equally impressive—flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. Every bite was a treat, and we couldn't get enough of the delightful offerings. So much so, that as we were wrapping up our meal, we were already making plans to return. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience, whether it's for a special occasion or just a leisurely outing. **The pasta and Hennessy wings were a hit, wasn’t so much a fan of the rolls but my sister enjoyed them.

I don't know where to begin. I was taking a friend who was visiting to check this spot out because my one and only visit was a great one (went around 5:30pm during the first visit). On this visit, we went around 8:45pm. The young lady who took us to our table and brought our water was nice... it went downhill after that. Mia, our waitress was seemingly too busy... so much so that she forgot that my friend had ordered a drink. Meanwhile, when I let her know, she gave a split second of an attitude and immediately was about to tell us he didn't order a drink. However, she was checking her handheld as she was making the statement, only to discover she'd forgotten the drink. When our food came out... it was horrible! I ordered the loaded catfish fries this time because the catfish dinner was so good during my first visit. However, everything was lukewarm (borderline cold), it had apparently sat for too long as the huge waffle fries had become soggy. They were heavily covered in the fettuccine sauce (which was too salty, by the way). It had the equivalent of a half piece of catfish that was overly cooked on top. My friend ordered the chicken version of the loaded fries, which mirrored my order... to the point that neither of us ate more than an eighth of our meal. My other friend had the catfish dinner again because he was there with the original crew when it was delicious. This time, the fish was overcooked, and everything was cold. He was also charged for tartar sauce, though we weren't told there was a fee for a condiment that should come with the meal. When Mia finally showed up again, she asked how everything was... so we told her. She went to grab the manager who was apologetic, but who immediately thought we were not wanting to pay as she led with "if we'd told someone before we ate any of the food" she would have remade everything. However, there was nothing she could do now (remind you, two of us had barely touched our food because it was not good). She went on to say she didn't want us to leave with a bad taste about our experiences, so she'd take a percentage off. At this point, I wasn't going to leave a review because I wanted to be supportive despite the poor experiences. However, when Mia came with the check... she said she'd take off my friend's drink because it took so long for her to bring it out. Meanwhile, we had a separate check, so I asked if the discount had been applied as the manager had mentioned. She said she couldn't do that because she removed the drink... so, only one of us benefits, although we ALL had a terrible experience? We were not given a receipt, and I'm still trying to figure out how a $20 catfsh dinner and $17 of loaded fries came out to $46 and some change? This was the straw that broke the camel's back... I had to do a review now, and I most definitely have a bad taste in my mouth and will NOT...

The atmosphere is cute… I’ll give it that and that’s IT! My friends and I are here from out of town and decided to come to slush to support black owned business. Unfortunately, Slush is the very sad stereotype of how we treat one another. I tried the chicken loaded fries for dinner and a crab dip for an appetizer, my friend ordered the chicken Alfredo, and my other friend got buffalo wings. The crab dip was decent… but the loaded fries was dry, seasoning just sprinkled on top, they aren’t fries more like just potatoes? Idk. It was gross don’t get it. My friends wings were served room temp and the sauce wasnt that great but decent none the less… and the Alfredo was TERRIBLE. Like they poured the sauce from the can to the pan… the waitress asked if we liked the food we said no and she said sorry to hear that and walked away… after waiting for 25 mins from the time we were asked if we wanted a to go box, the waitress finally came and we asked for the manager due to the items (Alfredo and fries) not being taken off… now THIS is the reason I’m leaving the review…. The manager that was on duty was the rudest b word I’ve encountered entire visit. She came over immediately hostile, rolling her eyes, snapping her neck and raising her voice. She came over with the intention to argue and did not seek to understand anything. My friends and I were extremely taken aback by her very initial approach. When she left the waitress seemed to be shocked by the way she came over and spoke to us as well because she apologized and said she didn’t expect her to be so rude about it but there’s a final sale policy on food… that’s absurd. I wasn’t going to leave a review initially because it’s a black owned business but I strongly believe that they need to do something about this woman. If we were the other kind she would’ve came over there using her professional voice and smiling but it truly be your own people. Even if the answer were to be unfavorable for me, I would’ve been able to accept that if the delivery wasn’t so nasty. I wouldn’t even be leaving this review if it weren’t for that managers horrible approach. There’s a way to say no & to paying customers that is not the way. I have no doubt that JESS (I think that’s the managers name- light skin, ponytail) would have had a much gentler approach if I was blonde haired and blue eyed. Their reputation is slowly but surely being tarnished.. we’d heard they were rude with bad food before going. We seen a girl on social media stating that the family of the business tried to fight her cause she said the food was bad. Just crazy. The waitress seemed embarrassed & I appreciate her taking accountability for JESS’ unbelievably rude service. I’ll never be here again even...

We visited this location on a Friday evening for my birthday. Upon entering, we were immediately aggressively and negatively greeted by The host who throughout our entire time there was annoyed that we got put at their big party table because we did have a group of 10.. We Had mozzarella sticks, but they were amazing. Our drinks were good as well, but I wish we would have been told that there was a smaller size so that Perhaps we could have more flavors but when I asked, I was told that there’s only one size. It was extremely chaotic and got very busy within the first half hour that we were there. Our server was definitely spread thin.. We were basically asked to leave after a certain amount of time being told that there is a two hour max limit on party tables. As much as I can understand, I don’t because it’s not like we weren’t buying things and spending money! Speaking of spending money, our bill was almost double what it should’ve been because our server brought us the handheld tablet, indicating for me To provide gratuity when I handed her my card, but much to my surprise, the manager who I spoke with the following day, told me that the servers are supposed to inform party tables that the tip is automatically included of 18%. I wouldn’t mind tipping more had been better, but again she was obviously spread thin but to have us at an additional gratuity to me felt like you were intentionally trying to take more money… I was working with the manager throughout the weekend trying to touch base on some discrepancies throughout our check and she did refund the portion of the gratuity that should not have even been added. Additionally, she did refund round of shots that should have been off the happy hour menu, but the server insisted me that a cherry bomb is not a bomb and charged full price. I stopped getting a response from the manager yesterday morning to try and resolve the rest of the discrepancies on the receipt of things that were added, and not actually ours.. but have not heard back. Huge loss & disappointment. This was unfortunate because the ambiance and location...
