The drinks that were made for us while on vacation were great!
That's the extent of the positive. We spent a few hours in the cafe on our last day at Myrtle Beach and I found that the toilet in the men's bathroom was clogged. I was informed that they the guy at the front would let someone know.
Two hours later it's still clogged and I ask if they know when it will be fixed. I was rudely told that "we don't do the toilets it's the hotel"... That's fine, but I should have been told that 2 hours ago.
I am direct and tell the guy "you told me you were getting someone hours ago" and I go to the front desk at the hotel who says they are getting someone on it immediately.
While I am away the guy at the front starts complaining to his coworker and shift manager about me and my wife is in the cafe overhearing all of this.
The whole time this is all going on, the guy at the front is on his phone and repeatedly told by the shift to do something... What great customer service. This has to be among the worst customer experiences I've had at any Starbucks around the globe.
It was particularly made better by the fact that the staff felt it appropriate to complain about me on the floor after I walked away. If anyone from corporate reads this I was here 8/16/25 at around 2 pm when it happened.

I kindly asked for a large cup of coffee with the regular amount of cream but light on the sugar. The person taking my order was very professional and friendly and knew exactly what I wanted. The person who made my coffee is the reason why I won't return, after I asked for light on the sugar he looked at me and obnoxiously said, "so would that be one or two sugars". I replied that light probably means I want one sugar. Again, with an obnoxious tone, he said, " so just say one sugar." Then when I got back to my room I tasted my coffee and there was hardly any cream in it and the overall taste was very bitter even with a light...

A year ago I relocated to the Socastee/Surfside south end of Myrtle Beach and have been frequenting the other Starbucks locations in the Market Common & Surfside area but it is just not the same as this area. I really like this Starbucks location because it is situated right across from the beach and is located in the best part of Myrtle Beach. The true locals know what I am talking about. Nothing better than grabbing your coffee and taking in the ocean view. Sipping your coffee while watching the waves crash. Always great service at the 7200 N Ocean Blvd location next to the...
