Updating my review (for original review see below). I have been to this Cava many times. It is the most convenient to us, hence why we keep coming back. I have a lot of dietary restrictions and Cava is one of my very few safe places. Unfortunately, each time we visit this location, there’s an issue. Usually charged for things we ended up not getting or able to consume.
Yesterday was the last time we will visit this Cava. We arrived after 1pm. I assume they might have had an insane lunch rush based on their attitudes, but that’s not my fault. The first person on the line was nice enough, but I told her I wanted rice, she asked if I wanted greens and I said only rice. She gave me one scoop of rice. I asked her if I could please have the full rice portion, which she added a second scoop. They were out of almost all proteins, so she kept having to go to the other stations which I could totally see why it was frustrating for her, but not my fault no one had restocked her station.
Then she repeatedly told the cashier until she charged me for it, that I got extra rice, so I was charged for extra rice!!! It was the smallest bowl I have ever had there, was charged extra, and left hungry. I’ve never left a Cava hungry before. The bowls are amazing! My husband asked for the soft pita (that we were under the impression comes with our bowls), and the cashier was super rude about it and was annoyed at our request.
There wasn’t a huge line behind us, so it’s not like we were holding up the queue. We were just inconveniencing her by being there.
Then we got to our food. My husband got nothing but the burn/crusty bits of rice that sit at the bottom of the container. They were super hard and difficult to eat. At some point he said “I think there’s melted plastic in my food”. Thankfully (I guess) was just the rice. Then the cabbage tasted off, he couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but he ended up removing it from his bowl because it tasted as if it was expired.
The attitude of the staff has always been off putting, the mistakes with the food and the charges are enough. We will go anywhere else, but this location.
Based on the attitude we received yesterday, I’m sure they don’t care about my review or me not coming back. But, I had to vent. The location is the most convenient!
Please open more Cava stores!

Cava is my favorite place to go. I have a lot of dietary restrictions, and cava is amazing at making me feel safe. This was my first time at this location, and it was nice. It was very clean. As usual, the food was fantastic.
As I do during every visit, I got the cucumber lime mint drink, but this time it had no sweetener. We wouldn’t typically complain or say anything, but my husband told the cashier because he saw her getting a drink for a to go order. He was trying to be helpful. She said that the drink doesn’t have any sweetener in it, and that it was supposed to be that way. She was nice about it, but I don’t know if they changed their recipe or if she just didn’t know? If the recipe was changed please go back to the original. It is so good! Cava is one of three chain restaurants I can ever eat at, and as such I seek them out all over the country as we travel. This was the first time I had a cucumber mint lime drink that tasted so bad. It was definitely not good. It was very watered down sour lime juice with cucumbers. There weren’t any mint bits that are usually in the drink, and certainly no sweetener. I looked up the drink on the app, because I thought I had lost it, and the first thing it says is that it’s “sweet”.
Huge disappointment because we paid for drinks we couldn’t even touch. I have a lot of allergies, and can’t drink the sodas or the tea. So the cucumber, mint, lime or the lemonade are the only two drinks I can have. I literally paid for tap water at this location.
Long story short: I recommend you get a different drink at this location. The cucumber mint lime drink doesn’t taste good at all.
Parking in the garage is very convenient. It’s free for up to an hour,...
Read moreI came in for the first time on Wednesday during the lunch rush and was excited to try the spicy lamb and avocado bowl. Once I got up there, there was no spicy lamb; in fact, there probably hadn't been any for a little while which I was sad to see. A line worker noticed this and swapped with another worker to ensure that I would receive the spicy lamb I wanted so desperately. She put forth the effort that I would never have expected from someone working at CAVA. With energy and genuine empathy for my hunger, she kept the staff around her moving and even gave me a free drink which humbled me to receive while I was waiting for the forbidden spicy lamb to finish being prepped. As I waited, I watched this same worker effortlessly clean the dining room and assist many other customers seeking their pickup order. After a few more minutes, the spicy lamb that had only been spoken of in legend had finally finished cooking. This wonderful, hot and fresh spicy lamb had finally hit my bowl and I could have shed a tear of joy and relief upon seeing my CAVA bowl reach completion with the rest of the Spicy Lamb and Avocado ingredients joining the party. Upon arriving at the checkout, the same worker (who I believe might have been a magical fairy or other mythical being made of kindness and sweet energy) refuses to let me pay for my meal. If I were humbled before, this moment had left me feeling like a follower of the most gracious bishop; a taste from the sweet nectar of human kindness; gifted the true feeling of love and consideration. The bowl could have tasted awful and I would still have returned, if only to feel a fraction of the amity and appreciation I had felt once upon a time. I was elated to discover the bowl also met and exceeded every expectation I could have but ultimately, the tether keeping me to this location will always be the wonderful human behind the line, ensuring the experience of everyone who would think of entering will be unforgettable. Thank you to that kind soul once again. 10/10...
Read moreIt was a busy night, but I put in my order online and arrived when the app told me it was ready. I stood in line for an hour and a half waiting for my online order. The staff never acknowledged me and when I would go to the counter they would walk away. They eventually came over after seeing me stay when all orders were filled and gave me a cup. I assumed it was for a free drink, but all the drink stations were empty or near to it. They were understaffed so the restaurant was very messy and nothing was stocked. The silverware was laying there in a bag that was ripped open. Were you just grabbed from the silverware if they didn't have time to put it away. They asked me what my name was after waiting there for an hour and a half and they said they didn't see my ticket so they had to look for it on their computer and then they printed out the ticket and then proceeded to make my food. I had asked to cancel my order and the employee fulfilling the online orders just handed me a cup and walked away. Once I received my order I opened the bag to see that it was incorrect. They did not have the rice that I had requested and they did not have pita (for a wrap, so they made it a bowl) they didn't tell me that these things were out of stock. They just gave me replacements that they had deemed appropriate without asking me even though I was standing right there. The sauce bottles were also pretty much empty so when they went to give me sauce they barely gave me a tablespoon and I asked for more than he rolled his eyes and went to the fridge and got the full bottle. I was frustrated because I would have just canceled my order if they would have allowed me to and the app did not allow me to...
