Starbucks — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I never post reviews, largely because I’m of the camp that my opinion on a specific chain restaurant/coffee joint is completely irrelevant. It’s a Starbucks, they aren’t reliant upon word of mouth recommendations; they’re an international household name. You don’t pick and choose them based on their Michelen star rating, you go because you have an unhealthy obsession with frappes and it’s the closest location to your work or home. The reason I have decided to grace you all with my insights is because I watched a man harass my favorite barista (the one who always has the funky hair) over his “extra hot drink” (which was visibly steaming) not being hot enough. She was so kind and gracious and I thought this girl really needs some positive feedback after dealing with horrible caffeine addicts day in and day out. I stumble into the store at all hours of the morning, grossly hungover and feeling suspiciously close to death. Every time she’s there I know my order is going to come out correctly and quickly, and she always takes the time to make small talk with me when there’s not a line. Anyways, give this girl a raise, and consider investing in a taser for anyone who’s critical of her (those people probably pronounce it “expresso” anyways, and I would argue it’s damaging to...

This location is awful! I understand they are busy, but this is literally the worst Starbucks in the city. We visited today at around 8:40am and it took nearly 30 minutes for them to make 2 lattes. We received the first one after waiting about 15 minutes, and then received the second latte almost 15 minutes later. We would have expected to receive both drinks on the same ticket at the same time, like all other Starbucks locations. When we kindly asked about the second drink we were met with anger and attitude from the two baristas in the front (white woman with glasses and black woman). Their attitudes were from us simply asking about the second part of our order - Smh. I have never experienced such horrible service from Starbucks baristas, and they got our second drink wrong. We definitely will not return to this location. Unless you want to wait 30 minutes for your order to be made wrong, or experience attitudes from baristas to start your day, your best bet would be to visit the 2525 WEA location or the 3005 WEA location. I get the Caramel ribbon crunch with 2 shots of espresso and extra crunch at the bottom and the top of the drink every time at least one time a week. I’ve never had this drink made right. Even after asking to have it remade, it’s always messed up in some way. The baristas do not seem to read the instructions. I ask to have the drink made the way it’s supposed to, with caramel crunch at the bottom and at the top, but if I don’t say something to the person making my drink before they start making it (and most of the time I can see them looking at me out of the corner of their eye as I’m trying to get their attention so I can ask them to make it right the first time but they still ignore me and continue making it wrong), they will not put ANY crunch at the bottom let alone the EXTRA I ask for every time. And then when I ask them to remake it because it’s wrong, they make it without the espresso shots. Or with a very minimal amount of crunch.
