Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Well, i was so excited to see a ben and jerry’s because i’ve been craving cherry garcia like crazy!! and we’re from out of town, so i wanted to pick up a mini puppy ice cream for our pup who was back at the hotel waiting for us. I ran to the door at 10:25, only find the doors locked and the woman behind the ice cream case ignoring me. My husband then tried, she ignored him too. Disappointing, and really poor customer service especially when you’re staring at the hours sign that’s posted right on the door and the employee sees you and continues to ignore you.

!!Update!!: I was contacted after writing this review, and Ben & Jerry’s went above and beyond to make sure they made it up to me for the poor experience. Wonderful people and delicious flavors. We had 10 different flavors, not one complaint! I had contacted Ben and Jerry's with an odd request, catering for my mother's birthday funeral. She had requested an outdoor funeral and it was supposed to be 80 degrees that day, what would have been her 98th birthday.

The catering manager replied almost immediately that it was their 10,000 free scoops day (we didn't know) but they wanted to help us anyway. They could not get away from their big day to deliver the ice cream, but they offered to give us 100 scoops for our event if we could get them that morning.

A precious cousin and her husband did the picking up and delivering it to mom's farewell party. It was so helpful of everyone. We're extremely grateful and highly recommend both the people and their ice cream!

I wanted to like this place more than I did. The service was alright (though they didn’t know how to work their credit card machine and it took about five minutes for them the charge my card) and it was clean enough inside... ice cream was mediocre at best and a little freezer burnt I think. Not a fan.

Pricing though, now that was terrible!!! I was really surprised when I got to the register to discover that two small scoops of ice cream in cups (they charge extra for cones, lol) was $12 and some change. Seriously? Wanted to check it out because we were thinking that maybe we spend a little more than necessary on our evening ice cream dates to Jenni’s.... but it was more expensive at Ben and Jerry’s!

Last time I come here. Better selection, service, atmosphere, and prices at and of the other shops in town....
