Was there a change of ownership or focus? I came here because I saw all the good reviews and mouth-watering photos of food and drinks online, but to say that I was disappointed is an understatement. The live music is located on the second floor. Go by the stairs on the side, not inside the first-level dining area. When you get upstairs, stand by the door before the sign "wait to be seated" until someone hopefully noticed you in this not-busy establishment. I came here specifically to try their whiskey "float", but I did not see that on the current menu. I checked that I was not imagining it when I saw it online. Nope, it's all there in many, many reviews and photos. I asked if it's still possible for them to make that even if it's not listed on the current menu. No luck. They were not magicians. Can't bring up the culled. Got their Southern Peach instead and it was nice and refreshing! The same thing happened to the food. I saw that the photos of food online looked amazing, but I suspected that they would be different in real life. I wanted to get the chicken tenders and fries since I love naturally cut fries (I don't know how else to describe those fries even if they might not have been naturally cut), especially ones that looked well-fried and crisp. On the menu that I was holding, the fries were described as crinkle fries... hmm... that doesn't match the photos I've seen online. Sure enough, as I looked around the room, all the fries were those pale, fat crinkle fries. They are fine, but definitely a disappointment when you came expecting those skinny, brown, crisp fries. Also, the chicken tenders were not like what you see online (again). What I saw online were tenders that looked like they were made in the kitchen but what I got was skinny, long rectangular blocks that looked like they came from the frozen food aisle. The sauce (Nashville hot) was good though, so yeah, they were okay. The service was good. They checked on me a few times to refill my water, asked if I needed anything else, if the food/drinks were okay. If I had came here without knowing what I wanted or seen prior photos, it would have been a better experience.

Not sure if this is a 3 or 4 star review...maybe 3.5? This is from a local perspective... Food was good, nothing really stood as OMG but the melted cheese and moz app. Was the star of the show. We actually asked for more bread as we didn't get enough bread to dip. Fried wontons as stated by others very good...different. Wife got a burger with fries...and I got a pizza. Solid burger but the fries were cold and chewy. Tasted like they made them, other food wasn't ready so they microwaved them then still let them sit there. Didn't even eat them. Pizza was solid, defently know what they are doing. Now comes the bad...never saw our waitress, guy behind the bar brought all of our food, never even after getting our food did she check on us...we got 1 refill on water. And if you know me from some my other reviews...I HATE waiting to give you my money. We sat for 10-15mins before she came to check on us, finally asking "how was everything?" The one mixed drink my wife had was good she said, nothing spectacular. This place also charges a 2% "convience" fee for paying with cards...really? So as a local, dealing with downtown...also having to PAY $12 to park to spend 80 bucks on dinner...nah...not for me. You from out of town, staying down town? Hell yeah its good food...just hope you have a good waitress.

When we arrived at this establishment we had never been here and new it being Sunday and them offering brunch and being in the industry ourselves and foodies at heart we were prepared, it being the day after the Eric Church concert, to wait and wait patiently for something good and boy was this experience awesome. Brandon (clear throat), I meant "Darcy" was super busy but got us drinks pretty much right away! We didn't wait as long as expected for a table. Megan came and greeted us right away and got drinks and an app on table also very quickly. This place was hopping man, and we were loving it. The cocktails, wine selection, brunch drinks, specifically the bloody Mary with their homemade bloody mix, mmmmm mmm, slap yo granny good!! Siracha deviled eggs, salmon bennie, Nashville Hot chicken on homemade Belgium waffles and hot maple syrup, and we just had to try the biscuits and gravy, Yas ma'am Pam!! Oowiie! Finger lickin good! We ordered Monkey Bread for dessert and y'all, oh snapagawea, she was good, she was reeeeal cute!! Just get over to this amazing place for atmosphere, drinks for the soul and food that keep ya hankering for more. And did I mention, ladies, go see Darcy, he's a great Bartender, and also HAF. Loved it. See y'all again

My husband and I intended to hit The Tavern for brunch on a friend's recommendation, but as we drove by saw a line of people waiting. Oh, well, we traipsed all the way downtown, so determined to deal with a line. However, after parking we walked by this place, which seemed far less busy and also touted brunch, so made a game time call and stopped at The Stillery instead. So glad we did! It was far less busy, we were seated right away. Everything on the brunch menu sounded delish. There is a dearth of healthy or light options, would really be my only complaint. But if you want a hearty meal this is it. Every dish we saw brought out looked amazing. I ordered a Benedict that featured a goodly amount of prosciutto topped with roasted grape tomatoes, poached eggs and hollandaise. Very tasty! The side of crispy potatoes however stole the show, they were so flavorful. My husband's Elvis waffles (with Reese's pieces and bacon) with bananas was disappointing. Sounds amazing but the Reese's was baked in and they sort of had dissolved. The chunks of bacon were nice. The waffles themselves seemed made with corn meal. It just tasted coarse and dry to us. We also ordered a carafe of mimosas which was great; basically a bottle of wine flavored just enough with the OJ, for $25.

All in all it was a great experience. We agreed we need to come back and try the brick oven fired pizzas. They...

It is so unfortunate that the services was so horrible. Not only was the service bad, the staff is rude and disrespectful. Our server came to our table a total of 3 times the entire dinner. That included ordering and getting the check. Due to the fact that our server was no where to be seen, I went up to the bar to ask for two cups of water. The bartender told me that he would not give me water since I was not a bar customer. I explained to him that I was having dinner at the restaurant, pointed to our seats, and that our server was MIA. He then told me again that he was not going to give me water and proceed to tell me that a server was going to be at my table… as if I had never been to a restaurant before. I again explained that we did not see our waiter, and he said he couldn’t help me. I then had to ask a food runner for water, who then was finally able to communicate to our waiter that we needed a drink. Even with this communication, it still took forever to get the water. I would not recommend this place to anyone. To top it off, the table behind us were also having difficulties as they did not get half the food that they ordered, and then the waitress tried to get them to pay for the food they didn’t receive. Don’t waste ur time, money, or energy at this restaurant unless you want to sit and wait forever for mediocre food. Wouldn’t go back...
