Americana Apartments — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

I stayed at Americana Apartments for 9 months while I was in grad school at Vanderbilt for the 2021-22 school year. It's a 10-15 minute walk to Peabody. My experience was amazing. Roy and Marcus provide excellent service to their residents. They were friendly and genuinely cared for their residents. The office is very quick to respond to any emergencies, maintenance issues, or general questions. They are always available and present throughout the week. I never had issues with pests or safety. I also never heard anyone else in the building. I had no issues with moving out or receiving my deposit back. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores in walking distance.

Transparently, the only con to this apartment was the construction next door, but it was not too bad. By the time I came home from school the construction would usually be done for the day.

Overall my experience with Americana was everything I needed for my first apartment. Also pretty affordable considering other apartments in the area. If I wasn't moving out of state, I would definitely still live there. I would recommend to a friend or...

The location is 5 star for people who go to Vanderbilt main campus. 5 mins walk from the campus. The apartment itself is not particularly modern and without microwave. However, it comes with 2 brand new elevators which are very convenient for moving and bringing groceries home. Sound proof is good with your neignbours but not so much with the noises from the bar/pub downstairs. I was lucky the live music from bar was not on due to COVID. I am not sure what it will be like when the bar/pub is back to normal. One night there was a band playing downstais acoustic was pretty good in my apartment. Management team is quick to response to service request. Overall, I have good experience living here and enjoying the relatively cheap rent for this location, and quiet time during COVID. Till my relocation to CA recently, Americana Apartments has been 'home' for me over 6.5 years. I've seen the apartment evolve and improve significantly in the recent years. The biggest plus for this apartment is the affordable rent rate based on the convenience of location, particularly for folks studying or working at Vandy. The apartment is at a walkable distance from Vanderbilt Medical Center, loads of new and upcoming restaurants and bars nearby. Roy is the best property manager you could ask for..Very quick to respond and will promptly address all your queries..He has constantly added valuable upgrades to the apartment over these last few years.
