My wife is posting this review from my google account: I have NEVER had such horrible service in my life at a restaurant until tonight. My friend and I went To Chili’s around 6 tonight. She had her 3 month old baby with her. We were told it would be about a 30 minute wait which was fine. We actually got seated in about 20 minutes which was great. Our server started out super friendly and brought us our drinks. We ordered our drinks (dr pepper and sweet tea) and he came back right away and took our order. We also ordered queso dip. 25 minutes passed and we did not get our queso yet. I very nicely reminded him by telling him I had a coupon for the queso in case he did happen to forget to give him the benefit of the doubt because they were busy and to remind him to get it for us. He handed us the kiosk to pay and told us to put our phone number in to apply the coupon. About 10 minutes in to us being seated, a party of at least 10-15 ladies came in and sat beside us for a few. They were then moved to a different part of the restaurant and I’m not sure why. We were quite and minded our own business. I’m not sure if they were waiting on a larger table or what. After they arrived, Our waiter literally never came back to our table one time to check on us. It was like we were invisible. He walked by so many times. We had been waiting for one hour at this point with no refills and no queso dip. I finally got up and found a server walking around and asked for the manager. He replied with “that’s me.” I told Him we had been waiting on our queso and refills for over an hour and nobody has checked on us. He asked where we were sitting and apologized and said he would take good care of us and would be right back with our food and refills. We told him we no longer wanted the queso if our food was finally about to come out. He comes back in a minute to tell us our food is being made now and gives us the queso dip. He gives my friend a refill of her Dr. Pepper and says the sweet tea is being made and will be out in about 2 minutes. We waited 15 more minutes after this to have no food still and no refill. The manager never came back. At this point, there were several tables around us who were getting their food and they were sat one hour after we had been there. At this point, my friends baby was getting cranky and we got up and left. I have never left a restaurant before. After two hours, no food, and the manager not fixing our issue, we left and will never be back. I do not understand why our waiter just abandoned us after being so nice in the beginning for 5 minutes to get our drinks. I wish I would have gotten the...
Read moreThe experience was horrible and I will never dine at this location. The hostess did not greet or acknowledge our party upon entering the building. She acted as if she didnt want to be there. When i informed her the party size, she questioned me about the amount of people actually attending, which was 10. As they escorted us to the table, there was trash and food on and under the table. I asked the hostess if she would inform the waitress to clean the area prior to seating. When the hostess returns, she tells us that its not in her job description to clean the floors and wipe the tables but began cleaning. The waitress eventually arrives 20 minutes later and asks what we want to drink. She also acted as if we were an inconvenience to her. She was very rude. Shortly after, we heard a little lady yelling at staff in the kitchen. Everyone was startled and looked towards the commotion. It was one of the managers. Everyone eventually placed their orders, and when the food comes out, the waitress hands the food to our party. She does place the plates on the table and walks away. After being fed up with the rude charade, I went to speak with the manager. She said she would fix the food because the plates were hot but the food was luke warm. As I am debriefing her about the experience thus far, she catches an attitude and gets loud saying our party is being rude for discussing their food problem behind her back. I paid for my drink and left. I will be reaching out to corporate this week about this experience.
After discussing my experience with the GM, he informed me that he appreciated me for reaching out to the Chili's management team in getting these issues resolved. He listened attentively, took notes of the events that took place, and apologized on behalf of his staff and the representation those individuals left on Chili's and their reputation. He ensured me that he would address this matter with his team so it doesnt occur again and amend the disappointing experience. He thanked me for my feedback and welcomed me to dine with them and/or any Chili's location in the future. I am very appreciative of the GM at this location because he has shown me that he truly values my feedback, and wants to correct any problems that may arise. He has informed be that he will continue to strive at making every experience at Chilis a great one. Thank you again for taking the time to address...
Read moreHonestly, when I go to Chili’s, I always order the same thing – the Triple Dipper with double Honey Chipotle Tenders and Original Mozzarella Sticks. It's one of my go-to meals because I know it’s always good, and I can count on it being exactly what I want. So, when I went there on this particular visit, I was really looking forward to my usual order. I wanted to stick with the classics, but this time, things didn’t go quite as smoothly.
Instead of my usual Triple Dipper, I decided to try something different and ordered a burger. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations at all. The burger was, frankly, awful. It wasn’t cooked properly and just tasted off. To make matters worse, my mozzarella sticks came out cold. Anyone who’s had mozzarella sticks knows they need to be hot and crispy, but these were far from that. I wasn’t happy with my meal, so I had to send the cheese sticks back, hoping for a fresh batch. Even when the new ones came out, they still weren’t great, and I couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed.
As if the food wasn’t bad enough, there was the issue of how we were treated. It seemed like the staff had some preconceived notions about us, simply because we were a group of teens. The vibe from the staff was skeptical, like they were expecting trouble or thinking we weren’t going to be responsible customers. But that wasn’t the case at all. We had money, we were well-behaved, and all we wanted was to have a nice meal and enjoy the time together. We dressed well, carried ourselves with respect, and didn’t cause any problems. But still, it felt like the staff was watching us, and it wasn’t comfortable.
Even when we were packing up to leave, there were three or four staff members lingering near our table, which was awkward. It felt like they were waiting for us to do something wrong, but we were just waiting for a friend’s phone to charge. We paid our bill and weren’t trying to cause any issues. It wasn’t horrible overall, but I really hate when assumptions are made based on appearances or age. It’s frustrating, especially when all we wanted was to have a nice meal without...
