Went to Doc’s for my 21st birthday last year (I was born in 2003) and had no issues getting in with my real, government-issued Missouri ID. This year, I decided to go back and suddenly, the same valid ID was being called fake by the bouncer.
He barely looked at it before claiming it was fake and called the manager over. The manager didn’t even examine it before immediately agreeing it was fake. Their reasoning? Because it said “Saint Louis” instead of “St. Louis.”
I even showed them my old vertical ID (from before I turned 21), and they still dismissed it without giving it a proper look. It felt like they were determined to turn me away and didn’t want to be proven wrong.
Really disappointing experience, especially after having no issues last year. If you’re going to question someone’s ID, at least take the time to examine it and understand the basics of what real Missouri ID look like.
To make things even more confusing, my boyfriend had a paper ID (which is much easier to fake), and the bouncer said that...
Read moreI didn't expect a lot going in, but goodness this was below even my expectations. The atmosphere was awesome and a really fun way to celebrate Tombstone. The food and the service is where it went down hill pretty fast. The onion rings were cold to touch when received. The restaurant got us fresh ones. We ordered dessert because the peach cobbler sounded divine. What I got was a piping out hot cast iron skillet with a still frozen peach cobbler and a scoop of ice cream. The peach cobblers are frozen and warmed up, which is fine but mine was ice cold still. Just frustrating... Then the waiter forgot to split the bill and charged all of the bill to our card. Got that fixed but then realized it wasn't even split correctly and so had to be refunded 2 times and hope everything is correct when we check our bank statements. So unfortunately with 3 separate items being bad we would never go back. The rest of the food was pretty bland and...
Read moreThis Nashville saloon reminds me of the times when doc holiday himself was hanging out at a low key underground old west dive bar scene that's always loaded up with great live music and a abundance of women from the brothels . Yeah it's hard to find but when u do, just keep it to yourself and have a shot. Atmosphere always exciting and the musicians always live. This bar is right off broadway on newly remodeled 2nd street. As long as u don't mind any ladies dancing next to your beer on the bar, then your good to go. And when it's time to go, this place features Nashville Shuttle right out in front when u leave....a hop on hop off shuttle bus service that passes through about every 30 min. From there your on your through Nashville to the opryland music valley hotels area. Yeah I like badass dive bar can you...
