okay, where to even start? it’s my birthday weekend and my husband decided to surprise me with a night out in nashville. we learned about nacho daddy through some coworkers of ours that raves on and on about their las vegas location and how they had a great vegan selection for me and my husband.
when we first got there, it was packed and we were told a hour wait. seeing that we had took an uber, we decided to go ahead and get on the waiting list. it took about 30 minutes for us to be seated….thats the ONLY good thing about this night.
we were sat on the second level, which was fine, until the night progressed. the waitress was phenomenal! great personality, super nice, and although they were over working her, she continued with a smile! thanks yonna!
we ordered drinks from the bar..2 margaritas, $20 a piece, and you couldn’t taste not one ounce of alcohol in it! literally paid $40 for juice 🙄
when she brought our drinks over, we went ahead and ordered our food as well, this was about 8:25ish. she placed our order and went about to check on her other tables. about 15-20 minutes pass and she comes over to let us know the kitchen was a tad bit backed up and sorry for the delay. we told her that was fine and she went on her way. another 20ish minutes went pass and we still had no food nor had we seen our waitress in a while so we stopped another waitress to ask her could she locate our waitress because it had been well over 30 minutes since we placed our food order and that waitress informed us that she had a table that’s been waiting over 45 minutes for their food. in the midst of us talking to that waitress, our original waitress walks over to listen to our concern in which she informed us then that she was sorry that she hadn’t been by in a while that they had her literally waiting tables on both levels of the restaurant!😳 which is absolutely insane to me! as busy as that place was, why you have your waitresses and waiters going back and forth, up and down all those stairs!? not only is that inconsiderate for the employees, but to the customers as well that’s having to wait 20+ minutes to see their server again. but i can’t blame her, i can only blame the scheduling from management.
now, when she came back to listen to our concern, we’re now at about 9:15ish. she apologized about the wait for the food and said she would go get the manager-Aubrey or Audrey. after 10 minutes, the manager FINALLY comes over, and all she could say was, “we’re a new facility”. i’ve been to multiple new facilities when they’ve opened before and NEVER had to wait over an hour for my food! she said she would go check on ours and be right back-we NEVER saw her again.
finally, here we are at 9:50-food gets to our table! we were so irritated at this point that we didn’t even want the food but it was already almost 10 at night and we hadn’t ate after being out and about since about 4.
needless to say, i definitely would not recommend this place to anyone i know. i get places can get busy, but the lack of attention to our concerns from management was definitely the icing on the cake and yall expect people to come and spend 75+...
Read moreMy family and I were really looking forward to trying this restaurant after seeing it on social media, especially since Nashville finally got a location. Unfortunately, the experience was beyond disappointing.
From the start, things were off. Our server, Jeri, didn’t seem all that engaged, but whatever—we were there for the food. We ordered lemon pepper wings, and when they arrived, they were ICE COLD—like they had just come straight from the freezer. We flagged the server, who brought over the manager. While he was polite, we immediately felt pressured to order something else after making it clear we didn’t want a replacement. The other item we actually wanted was sold out, which we understood, but at this point, the experience was already going downhill. They did remake the wings, but the second batch was barely lukewarm. At this point, my excitement for this place had dropped to a 3/10.
Then came dinner, and somehow, things got even worse. We ordered nachos fries, which were missing the avocado and aioli—literally the ingredients that set them apart. The filet mignon nachos? Ice cold. The plate was hot, but the food wasn’t, which tells me it had just been sitting out. And let’s not forget the drink I ordered from the bar at the beginning of the meal—I didn’t get it until my entrée arrived, at which point, what was even the point?
And just when I thought it couldn’t get any more ridiculous, I ordered a brownie sundae for my 3-year-old. Not only was it forgotten completely, but after waiting over 20 minutes, what finally arrived wasn’t even what I ordered—it was fried ice cream. And guess what? They charged me $11 for it instead of the $3 kids’ sundae I originally ordered.I assumed it was the kitchen mess up not the waiters. By this time, I was already too busy trying to get the double charge for the wings removed to even catch the mistake.
This entire experience was a mess from start to finish. The service was slow and forgetful, the food was either cold or missing ingredients, and the overall lack of care from the staff was frustrating. We came in excited to try this place, and instead, we left disappointed, irritated, and completely turned off.
Nacho Daddy, do better. Because right now? I wouldn’t recommend this...

We visited your restaurant for the first time to celebrate Father’s Day, and unfortunately, the service we received from our waiter significantly diminished what should have been a special evening. While we were excited to try your restaurant, the experience left us disappointed and unlikely to return.
Our server—whom I cannot name because he never introduced himself—from the outset, his demeanor was unwelcoming and dismissive. He approached our table without a greeting or introduction; his first words were simply, “Do you want anything to drink?” This set the tone for the remainder of the service.
The drinks were subpar: the water tasted unpleasant and unfiltered, the Shirley Temple had barely any grenadine, and my wife’s margarita took so long that we assumed it had been forgotten. When it did arrive, he handed my wife’s drink to me without clarification and then abruptly asked if we were ready to order. When I asked for a recommendation on the nachos, the waiter curtly responded with “The Nashville” and walked away.
Throughout our meal, the waiter appeared disengaged. He never checked on us, never asked if we were enjoying our meal or needed anything and made no effort to create a positive dining experience. At the end of the meal, after a long period of absence, he returned only to ask, “Are you ready for the check?”—still without a smile, gratitude, or any offer of assistance.
When I got home, I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager on duty, who took down my information and assured me that the general manager would follow up. That never happened. I won't be returning.
In conclusion, the food was decent, but the overall experience—especially considering the $150 bill for nachos—did not match the quality of service expected. It was disappointing to spend a special occasion with my family in such an uncomfortable atmosphere. While we were looking forward to recommending your restaurant to others, unfortunately, we cannot do so based on...
