Urban Cookhouse — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Wow, where do I start. Well first of all the food was fantastic. I ordered a veggie quesadilla, and it was absolutely delicious. It had so much flavor, I didn't even feel the need to dip it into the salsa, guacamole, or sour cream (I ended up trying them all and they were delicious, Btw). The sweet tea was on point, and this is really important because a Lot of places over-sweeten or under-sweeten their sweet tea. If you're gonna serve sweet tea in downtown Nashville, you better nail it, and this place nailed it.

Second... Whatever you're paying Leah (spelling?) is not enough. I was very impressed by her attitude and her commitment to her job. She was ON my to go order. People, have you ever gone to a restaurant and ordered something to-go and felt completely ignored by the staff once you put your order in? It's as if you're a ghost to them. Well let me tell ya, Leah made sure I was updated on my order, offered me a place to sit and kept me posted on the progress of my food cooking. Honestly the food COULD have been average (IT WAS FANTASTIC) and I would still have came back because of the customer...

I was excited to try this place through partnering with Vanderbilt for delivery. I placed my order through the GET app and ordered a roasted red pepper soup. They called shortly after I ordered telling me they didn't have the soup. I'm fine with that, I told them I just didn't want soup then. He said, "okay that's fine" and hung up and when the order is delivered there is some random soup inside that I didn't want and I don't even know what it is. So I paid $4 for a soup I didn't order. I also requested a chicken wrap that comes with Buffalo sauce inside and ranch on the side. I asked in a note on the order if they could put the ranch inside the wrap and Buffalo sauce on the side and they didn't do that either. Overall, the only thing they got right with my order was the side (pasta) and on-time delivery. Very disappointed.

This place was in the building at my workplace (office suites) today. When these types of places come in for lunch time, it makes it nice and convenient along with trying something new. Today was my first attempt at trying this place. I went in to the suite they were set up in, stood there waiting my turn with only 2 people working it and only 2 people in front of me who were waiting for their orders to be completed. I had been waiting for about 3-5 minutes. When another couple came in to order (and only stood there for about a minute), the younger worker asked what she could get for them!!! I said, “And I have been standing here waiting for my order to be taken!!!”. As I walked out she said, “Oh, I can help you.” I said, “Nevermind, I am done!” and walked out. This was the most disrespectful customer service I have experienced in awhile.
