Honestly I have no complaints about the food, service or atmosphere. The bartender was great at tending our drinks while the appetizers created a perfect balance.

When given the bill, I told the waitress that she forgot to add two cocktails and I was thanked for my honesty while she fixed her error. I was given the kiosk to pay for the bill and when prompted for tip had the options of 2, 5 and 7%. I paid 7% and informed the waitress something might be wrong with the machine.

I was told the bill was defaulted to 20% gratuity and the prompt was for additional tip. She said this was customary on the toast machine.

I’ve lived in NYC my whole life and the only time you’re defaulted a tip is for a large party.

Era has become the neighborhood staple I didn’t know I needed in Hell’s Kitchen. The vibe is elevated yet relaxed—perfect for everything from a casual drink to a full night out. The cocktails are consistently excellent (and if they ever bring back that carrot drink, ORDER IT IMMEDIATELY—I still dream about it). Food-wise, the tacos and elote are my go-to combo every time.

Upstairs on the rooftop, it transforms into more of a party scene—think DJ sets, hookah, a full bar, and killer views of the city.

Special shoutout to Genesis for always bringing the energy, and to Gigi—truly one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met. I’ve gone in for “just one drink” and stayed for hours more times than I can count.
