This has been our go to place before we see shows at the Garden for several years now Tonight it was a little busy when we got there.. We were seated asap. Our male server was slow Drinks finally came When we tried to order we had to catch him We ordered the fish special 30 mins of waiting, I asked how much longer.. He rudely told me it will come out when it comes out. I asked 5 mins? 10 mins? The full tables were now cleared, less busy. He informed that it was very busy as if he were the only one working both floors I said I'd like an idea bc we have a show to see He told me so does everyone else. I said if it doesn't come out soon we're going to have to leave He said go ahead, that's up to you. He walkes away The girl working by the front door handled us as we were pretty angry now She told the manager, we didn't see the moron again Our food came, it was very good. We missed the 1st part of the show which is the part we came to see We saw another pub down the street which is where we'll go next time.**I replied.. no rely to my email... they don't care about their customers
3/12/19 I emailed them well over a week ago. No reply. Not surprised since they didn't come to our table...
Read moreFirst time dining at Jack Doyle’s and it won’t be my last! Made reservations for 6 for dinner a couple of days before a Ranger game. Two of us arrived a few minutes early and were pleasantly greeted and shown to our table. We were promptly offered drinks while we waited for the others to arrive. Once everyone arrived they ordered their drinks and we decided what to order for appetizers and dinner. After we ordered, our food came out quickly and hot. The shrimp tacos and buffalo wings were delicious. I ordered the spicy avocado chicken wrap and that was delicious too. Others ordered burgers, steak and fries and fish n chips. We all enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. Our server was Anastasia and she was wonderful. So, before tax & gratuity it was just under $50/pp. (we had 9 alcoholic beverages). I find this much less than what you would expect to pay in NYC. Especially for great food and service. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area and I would definitely recommend this establishment to others. Thank you Jack Doyle’s...

When I asked the host about the process to wait for a table, I couldn’t get a clear answer, and when I asked if there was a chance we’d be seated, I received little guidance. This lack of communication was frustrating.
Looking around, the place seemed outdated, and the TVs were small and hard to see—certainly not ideal for watching a game. I also read their menu and their food was overpriced, so we decided to leave and found another spot that better suited our expectations.
Jack Doyle’s might work for some, but based on our experience, it wasn’t the right fit for us. A clearer reservation process and better communication from the staff would have made a...
