To the owner: PB is a coffee-shop where I come to get my beloved coffees. Today, after 11 minutes waiting for an expresso macchiato with almond milk (foamed almond milk) I got a latte full of milk. With respect, I return to the counter to ask for help to get my desired beverage. A lady, who said she was the manager, told me that the employee is new and I have to have patience because he doesnāt know how to foam milk . She also stated that I come too often and that she didnāt like it!! I requested a refund after this statement since Iām not welcomed by her!!! I come every morning and Iāve never experienced something similar! An employee complains because a customer brings business to the store!! After that she told me refunds are not allowed and offered to make a new coffee after 15 minutes!! Please, check your cameras. This happened on 9/14. After 2:59 pm. Here is my ticket and I left the store at 3.18 pm. Horrendous experience just to get an espresso with foamed almond milk. Most companies train their employees before placing them as baristas. In this case, I understand that is the managerās responsibility to place the correct employee at every position. She used my time to train the new barista and disrespect me because he did a bad job. Not Matthewās fault!! I want my time back!!!
UPDATE: on 9/15 at 6:30 am I came back for my morning coffee. While waiting for it, the general manager approached me. He didnāt introduced himself, he asked me if I had had a problem the day before. I spent 20 minutes doing this! Iām not coming back. I feel that customersā time is very important because they are the reason why businesses exist. When approaching a customer, you should always provide an apology or a thank you for your business. A customer who is known to your staff is a regular and itās not a problem,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRoach infested DO NOT GO!.Let me start off by saying I love paris Baguette and featured them on my thenycexplorer pages on social platforms. However, this paris baguette is NOT run to the high standards of all the others. After ordering two coffees and paying for my pastries, I went over to the pick-up. As the girl was handing me the first coffee, a large cockroach came out of one of the machines. This roach was exploring the area while the bartista and I watched š š³. The bartista called over the cashier, and the cashier killed the roach. I will state do NOT go to this paris baguette. If even one roach is out and about during the day with people everywhere, they must have a large infestation. I told the bartista, "Can I have a discount. I already had the two coffees in my hand at the time, and the bartista stated she could refund me. I state that's fine, and she states you can keep the coffees. The cashier comes over and tries to find my order. After that, the manager comes over as well and starts the refund process. The cashier is asking for the coffees back even tho they were already in my hand, and she was asking for the pastries back even though my boyfriend already had them with him in the seating area. She was almost hankering for it. I gave them back cause the way she was acting, I already knew she just wanted to drink them. No problem, take your roach infested coffees. I was highly disappointed with the staff and the way they handled the whole incident. AS WELL the conditions of this area. After seeing the roach, if you pay close attention, you can see roach feces in some areas. It may look like crumbs, but it's not. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING TO THIS PARIS BAGUETTE....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWow! I walked past this place hundreds of times, always admiring through the window, the delicious looking pastries they had on display. When I finally walked inside for a cup of coffee and looked closely at all the pastries and danish and cakes, I was shocked at how inexpensive they were priced! I asked if there was a sale on, and was told nope, those are our regular prices. Along with my fantastic cup of coffee , I ended up buying a box full of pastries, a couple of sandwiches on fresh baked bread, and even a couple of croissants.. so I admit, I am not normally a consumer of croissants, and this may be the first time I ever used that word in a sentence. Nevertheless, I can say with absolute confidence the food, desserts, bread, pastries and coffee there are all fresh, delicious and of the highest quality. They are served by a bunch of friendly, smiling staff as good-looking is some of the pastries. They were all priced fairly competitively, if not an outright bargain. For anyone who has not ventured inside one of these stores, I strongly encourage you to do so once, and you'll instantly become a regular as have I. This store, located on Broadway btwn West 96 and 97, is so easy to get to, just steps away from the MTA Subway's 1/2/3 96th Street Station, as well as the MTA's M96 and M104 bus stops. Five big, delicious, freshly baked...
