Went in after shopping. The initial waiter was lovely and sat us at the back after we asked her if we could just come in for drinks. Mum and I had been on our feet for hours, saw it was happy hour so when the next waitress came, she asked what we wanted & my mum asked for 2 beers from the happy hour menu. The waitress looked straight at me and asked me for ID. Bear in mind I'm 28 years old and clearly do not look underage. I have crows feet ffs. I said i had a photo of my passport, but my actual passport is obviously in my hotel safe - standard for most tourists. She said "I'm not allowed to do the photo thing" and just looked at us vacantly for like 5 seconds, which was weird. Then me and my Mum looked at eachother a bit like "??" and at first thought she was joking. After another second of weird silence, i sad we won't be ordering anything then and will just finish our waters and leave. Also bear in mind I've been here a week, been in clubs, bars, pubs, rooftop bars & restaurants without any problem. And if asked for ID (only by 2 other places- and literally just for entry, everyone in line was asked) they were perfectly fine with a photo of our passports. Absolutely ludicrous. Would understand if i was anything close to 21 or looked baby faced. Really frustrating. No other staff member seemed to have a problem but her. A guy came over after and said our waiter was busy but would we like to order with him, we said no thanks. Thanked the initial waiter as we left too. But yeah the waitress at the back should be retrained in how to ID customers. I've worked in retail before and understand ID'ing others, but doing it to people who clearly are nowhere near 21 is just silly. You're supposed to ID those that look underage, and i don't 🌚. The interaction was weird too. Certianly wasn't going to order...

I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Our server (Francisco R, he didn't wear a name tag so going off the name that was on the receipt) was difficult to understand due to the language barrier and was not at all friendly when he came to our table to take our order. We all ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich and fries. The menu was small, which was understandable for a lunch menu, therefore you would think the orders would come out in a decent amount of time. 45 minutes later we finally received our food. Our server never once checked on us during this time and the server for the table next to us refilled our drinks (without us asking) since our server was MIA. It seemed like he was used to our server not doing his job. When we received our food, the chicken was as small as a chicken strip and half the bun was a waste. I wish I would have taken a picture of it for a visual. Once again, our server never checked on us and had to be called over for him to give us our bill. I have no idea how this guy still has a job as we never saw him tending to other tables either. Very poor experience. Expensive bill, crappy service, and we left...

Bad experience here with food but the service was good. The mozzarella sticks with barely any cheese in them come with nasty looking buffalo/tomato sauce puree. The shoe sting fries weren't my favorite. The wings we ordered had nice smoked taste but the skin tasted like rubber, yuck. Maybe if they boiled the wings to give skin a crunchy texture it would be better. The salmon we order was decent but it with rice mixed with salad and that was very soggy. The salad we ordered had not been washed properly and tasted like little grains of sand from them being unwashed. So we sent it back to only get another unwashed salad. Another costumer sitting adjacent to me also sent back her salad for the same reason. My burger was decent, my rest the experience with food was horrible and I don't even seeing myself...

Restaurant located inside Macy's (one below level). I went on Saturday, around 1.30pm, and I found a very small queue (just two couples waiting before us). I don't know if it is possible to make a reservation, but it would be a good idea to check. I went because it was a rainy day, and after shopping in Macy's, it was the best place to stay and have lunch (in the meantime the rain stops a little). We got a place very quickly, but because we chose the bar, however, other people who wanted a table had to wait more (very strange because I saw several empty tables). As a tip, if you order a club sandwich, try one for two people, because the portion is quite big. Being in the bar, the attention was good and kind.

We ate here on a Friday night in Dec, had reservations at 6:30. after we visited the Empire State Bldg. We got there 30 min earlier at 6 pm & they seated us. I appreciated that it was nice little place with some ambiance & a menu for adults plus children. We had good service and everyone liked their food, we ordered burgers, steak salad & Chicken tenders. It was sort of hard to find it we asked Macy’s staff for help, take elevator to the bottom floor and walk through the huge section of men’s boxers & underwear and it’s around the corner up a few stairs.

Popular stop at the lower level of Macy's, on W34th St., Pric fixe meals @ $32, spirits & cocktails at the bar, gracious Asian hostess walks one to a comfortable seat, start with the pull apart onion bread served in its cast iron baking dish, stays warm for a long time, unstained silvers, cloth napkins usher high impression & unique expectations, attentive servers, family friendly, enjoy simple salad with just enough dressing for the salt conscious patron. Moderate capacity for private events.
