Read moreWe went on the website looking for a pizza place nearby. This place was recommended so we got the grandma pizza. There was 2 options, pie or slice. So we got a pie and garlic knots. The pie was absolutely huge. Which should have been a plus, and it wasn't too expensive either when you consider that two large pizzas and a side in Michigan comes out to the same price with delivery.
However, the pizza was very weird. The pesto, sauce and cheese were in stripes and not mixed or balanced well. The quality was poor and the taste came off very unappealing. Tried folding the pizza and it was very messy and didn't improve it much. This was our night to experience my style pizza and it ended up being so bad we gave the pizza away to a homeless guy.
The garlic knots and cheese were very good though. I would recommend getting those over a pizza if you choose this location and maybe chain. The website also didn't work and we had to use door dash, which worked despite the website for the place being run...

I can confidently say that Village Square Pizza serves some of the most delicious pizza in NYC. Every bite of pizza had great taste and an explosion of flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to gather with friends. It was clear that management takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment for their guests. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the high quality of ingredients that they use.
