HANDS DOWN. The best pizza ever. I’ve been following them since their first store in east village. Classic pepperoni obviously is everyone’s fav . Grandma is my husbands favorite. But my personal favorite…. *Drum rolls* EGGPLANT. Yes. Eggplant don’t judge until you try it. They use mikes hot honey and we all know that’s crack on earth. Their sauce is really the key to all their pizzas and the texture of the pizza itself is perfectly chewy with the crunch with you bite into it. You won’t regret trying village square. Attaching these photos is making me crave it all over again. 😛😛

If one drops by Village Square Pizza, one simply MUST get their pepperoni slice and get the hot honey drizzle over the too. My mind was blown when I bit into the slice. The crust was crispy and thin, the pepperoni was well balanced with the spicy and sweet honey, and the cheese had the perfect amount of pull to it. This is a no-nonsense, pay for what you get type of pizza and I’m all for it. I’m glad this was my introduction to NYC pizza ❤️ The owner was really friendly and patient in recommending us the different slices as well.

Grabbed food around 3am, and the pizza was still delicious. The young man working was mopping when we came in ( only ones there) and made sure to wash his hands before grabbing and warming the food. I had the white square and the margherita slice. The honey on the square was subtly sweet, and the square had an amazing crunch/crispiness on the edges while still being nice and chewy. The sauce on the margherita was one of the best I've ever had. I loved it so much that I went back the next day 😅 I definitely recommend it.

We went on the website looking for a pizza place nearby. This place was recommended so we got the grandma pizza. There was 2 options, pie or slice. So we got a pie and garlic knots. The pie was absolutely huge. Which should have been a plus, and it wasn't too expensive either when you consider that two large pizzas and a side in Michigan comes out to the same price with delivery.

However, the pizza was very weird. The pesto, sauce and cheese were in stripes and not mixed or balanced well. The quality was poor and the taste came off very unappealing. Tried folding the pizza and it was very messy and didn't improve it much. This was our night to experience my style pizza and it ended up being so bad we gave the pizza away to a homeless guy.

The garlic knots and cheese were very good though. I would recommend getting those over a pizza if you choose this location and maybe chain. The website also didn't work and we had to use door dash, which worked despite the website for the place being run...

I recently went to Village Square Pizza in Midtown and had a delightful experience. The pepperoni pizza is a must. I can confidently say that Village Square Pizza serves some of the most delicious pizza in NYC. Every bite of pizza had great taste and an explosion of flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to gather with friends. It was clear that management takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment for their guests. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the high quality of ingredients that they use. Can't wait to go back for another pie of pizza with family...
