For the hype this restaurant has, I expected greatness and it was anything but that. This restaurant focuses on having nice decor vs having great food, drinks, or customer service. To start off, the food was just average and nothing special and the presentation lacked compared to other thai restaurants I have been too. Then the drinks, I had a “lemonade” and it tasted like lemonade soda and it was so disgusting me and my boyfriend didn’t even get a quarter of way through the drink. We also ordered a pina colada and when I tell you there was barely any alcohol, there was barely any alcohol and the drink was 15 dollars?! When people say they cheap out on the drinks, believe them! Then the bathrooms are weird and located at inconvenient spot. Lastly, the customer service was terrible! Our waitress came over to us like twice throughout the whole time there, she was event the one who served us it was the nice men in the back that kept attending to us. Then here is the worst part of the experience, we get the bill to pay and my boyfriend paid the tab and we get the check back to sign clearly for the tip part and when I tell you they were HOVERING over us and watching us put a tip to an uncomfortable degree I am not joking so we left a good tip and these people CHASED us down before leaving telling us we needed to tip more and didn’t let us leave until we tipped more saying that we need to at least give them the amount they wanted which is beyond outrageous considering these “waitresses” weren’t even the ones attending to us and we did because they weren’t letting us leave like I never want to go back to this place again. I recommend Sage on Graham Ave, it’s another Thai restaurant which has way better food, service, atmosphere and you won’t spend 100 bucks for your food & drinks. Overall, this place is horrible and I have no idea why this place is hyped the way it is. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and to the waitresses there that harassed me and my boyfriend, you should be fired because at the end of the day tip is what the customer wants to pay for the service not what YOU want and what you did was highly illegal so I hope the manager does something about them because that is not how you make people...

Terrible experience, the first time I have ever left a 1 star review for a restaurant. I Made reservations for my girlfriend and I to celebrate her birthday there, which was mentioned during the reservation. They don't care if it's your birthday fyi. The place was esthetically pleasing, and made for some great photos, with some good looking drinks. but that's about it. I ordered a mixed drink from their decked out cocktail menu for my girlfriend and I, while we waited we went and took photos on the swings when I got back the drinks were on the table which I was unaware of, and when I sat down I knocked down my drink and spilled it all over the table, which was my fault, when I hailed the server over to help me clean up the mess, I asked for another drink which I was informed I would be charged for, even tho I hadn't had a sip of the first one. Terrible restaurant etiquette, good service etiquette entails that a new one be made on the house, but hey I don't make the rules, I just know what a comparable restaurant would do in that situation. Our appetizer a steamed crab dumpling looked pretty nasty, they make zero attempt at making the food look good, zero stars for food presentation. Luckily it tasted better than it looked. My girlfriend ordered the red duck, which the server told her " the duck is made with a ketchup sauce, is that ok" which she said was fine, but what the server DID NOT SAY is the entire dish, not just th duck is DOUSED in ketchup. It's just ketchup, not a ketchup sauce for the duck. Completely inedible. I'm not a picky eater so I told her to trade dishes with me, it was absolutely disgusting. DO NOT GET THE RED DUCK unless you love ketchup on everything. It was also lukewarm, almost room temperature when she got it. The sever didn't care that the plate wasnt eaten, they didn't ask if everything was ok. It wasn't. We skipped dessert which we never do and that's that. So much for a special birthday dinner for my lady. I wouldn't go here again for a free dinner. This place is ONLY good for a night out for the ladies if they want good photos for the gram and decent drinks. Don't come here as a couple or if you...

Welcome to the dictionary definition of hipster Williamsburg. With a raised DJ platform, a small pond, and quite possibly the weirdest and grossest bathrooms you have ever seen, Sea embodies everything that Williamsburg is about. Although the food was pretty good, when we first entered and asked for a table the lady shushed my friend and rudely told him to wait a minute. I thought this was an extremely inappropriate way to treat the customer. Her job is to greet the customers and be friendly, and she wasn't doing that. Eventually she acknowledged us and told us it would be a 30 minute wait, but we were seated in about 10 which was nice. The restaurant is beautiful, and the waitress was nicely and took our orders promptly and constantly kept our waters filled.

The menu has an entire side of just sushi, and another side with thai dishes. I ordered the drunken man's noodles which came with chicken, shrimp, and squid in a slightly spicy basil chili with egg. The dish came out in a cute little golden bowl, but the bowl was very wobbly which made it kind of hard to eat. The broad noodles are delicious, and have a great chewy texture. The sauce was slightly spicy and also sweet, all in all a pretty delicious dish. My friends ordered a wide range of dishes from sushi to pad thai and all seemed to be enjoying the dishes, which basically means none of the problems I had with this restaurant were related to the food.

I need to describe how weird the bathrooms were. They were small pods, and one of them had three urinals in them and if someone opened the door while you were peeing boys and girls alike could get a peep of your penis if you aren't careful. The sinks are also directly across from the bar separated by some hanging rope, which is pretty weird. Another thing is that they won't give you separate checks for a group, but they will take multiple cards and split it that way. To be honest this place would be better...
