(Last visited 12/4/2021.) Hanging out in New York City to check out the Christmas decorations and of course the Rockefeller Tree, but I have to eat right? I've heard great things about this place's wings so we came here to check them out!
Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is SO COOL. I would consider it a huge restaurant for it being located right in the heart of Manhattan. The ceilings are super high and the place is decorated head to toe. There are book cases holding tons of records scattered all around, warm-yellow drop lighting and shelves stuffed with old radios. This place gives off such a cool vibe and I loved it.
Service: I can't remember the guy's name who took care of us, but I do remember us having an issue, but no matter. We had a decent time.
Food: So they have quite a few state beers on tap and I dabbled in a few of those, but let's get to the wings. First, they're breaded and I'm not the biggest fan, but... it definitely added to the wing for sure. I tried their Hot & Spicy flavor first and they were actually pretty good. The wings have a "fluffy crunch" which means the batter is very light. They're also huge might I add. The second flavor was Soy Garlic and this had a good hoisin flavor and a bit of a rounded, buttery flavor from that garlic. Solid wings.
Value: I can't remember what the prices of everything was here, but I know it's New York City, but you have to pay to play. Lol.

Review: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Turntable Chicken Jazz in NYC, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. Located near the iconic Empire State Building, this restaurant offers the perfect lunch spot for a delightful day.
The menu at Turntable Chicken Jazz is truly exceptional. I had the pleasure of trying their spicy soy wings, spicy chicken sandwich, and kimchi fried rice, and I must say, each dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the spiciness added an extra kick that took the dishes to another level.
What impressed me the most, apart from the fantastic food, was the incredible vibe and service. The restaurant had a lively and energetic atmosphere, creating a vibrant ambiance that added to the overall dining experience. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making our visit even more enjoyable.

Read moreBest wings ever!?
I spent the entire meal thinking about this question. I couldn’t think of any place that beat these wings so I think they got the title!
Eating these wings really made me realize what I was missing out on other places. I created a few categories to judge wings.
Plumpness (how much meat) Crispyness (is there a crunch on the outside) Juiciness (of chicken inside) Sauce (flavor of the outside) Other (other)
Here is my review:
Plumpness: 5/5. Probably the biggest wings that came in an order that I’ve seen in a long long time. Probably double the size of a typical wing.
Crispyness: 5/5. When you can hear the actual crunch of your teeth, sinking into these wings, you know you made the right choice. Literally can hear it!
Juiciness: 5/5. If the outside was crispy, you could expect the inside to be dry, but no, no, no. The inside had a lot of meat, and it was all tender and very juicy.
Sauce: 4/5. One of the hardest decisions when ordering wings is to decide what flavor sauce to get. They keep it simple here. 2 flavors. Soy garlic, hot and spicy. They know it’s a hard choice so they let you do half and half. Hot and spicy was great! Soy garlic was good but could use a bit more flavor.
Other: you can tell these wings were prepared with love and attention. The way there were three flats and three drumsticks for each flavor. They were neatly plated on each side of the plate. Very nice presentation for something...
