My elderly husband and I arrived at 10:30pm from the airport. We were staying at the Hilton Garden inn which shares the parking lot with Wendy’s. We found the inside Wendy’s closed at 10:00pm but the Pick Up window was open. We had no car as we arrived by shuttle. We stood in line to order and then we’re rudely told that the restaurant does not accept walk ups through the pick up window . I said that there was no sign regarding the rule and if an exception could be made since we had no food available at the hotel. We were rudely told to get out of line because it was a safety hazard. I asked what was the hazard. No answer from the manager. Total silence. It is actually better due to Covid to have customers walk up for service rather than going into the restaurant. If you are going to close your inside restaurant so early at 10:00pm and still state the hours are until 2:00am and your signs state Pick up Window. It does not say Drive through. I asked again about serving us since there was no sign regarding no walk ups and she couldn’t tell us what was the hazard. We were told it was common sense. I asked to speak to the manager and was told rudely by that I was speaking to the manager. The manager was unprofessional. I asked to have her meet us outside to speak to us. She refused and said she was going to call the police. I said that would be fine. Amazing, this manager was going to call the police on an elderly couple who are both professionals and were nicely dressed. I encouraged the manager to call the police as I would gladly like to speak to them about how this Wendy’s felt the need to waste their time to harass an elderly couple wanting food. Read moreI’m a local for 15 years in the North Charleston Area. This Wendy’s #8867 has bad customer service towards Uber and Uber Drivers for the last 8 months.
On September 6, 2020 at 1:15 am , Uber sent me to pick up a order from this restaurant.
When I arrived to the speaker intercom, at the drive-through, the Wendy’s employee told me they couldn’t complete the order because their grill doesn’t work and they don’t have all of the items for the order.
I called Uber support and told them that this order cannot be delivered due to Wendy’s couldn’t complete the order. Uber made a call to the restaurant and the restaurant didn’t respond to their call.
This is not the first time that I have experience an issue with an Uber eats order from this restaurant. They always have Issues with Uber eats order when I arrive at the drive-through at this restaurant.
I have concluded that they don’t care about Uber orders because when they don’t pick up the phone and confirm the order to Uber support I have to cancel the order and it will count against my acceptance rating on my account with Uber.
Wendy’s advertise that they do delivery, but in reality they are “not consistent” in what they advertise to the customer.

Ordered large Chili with cheese and onions, that came out right, ordered a side salad w/no dressing - charged and given ranch dressing, ordered a medium Chocolate frosty, was given a small and when I corrected the employee - he sent it back. They just dumped the small in to a Medium cup - didn't top it off and brought it back out.
This is the second time in less than a month that our orders have been messed up. The first time we ordered a Taco Salad and ended up with a Pecan Chicken.
Most of the employee's are just standing around. The young gentleman that waited on us, just stood around while he was waiting for some of our order to come up. During that time, he could have been getting our drinks, ketchup, etc. No silverware was in the bag for the salad or Chili. Thank goodness I have learned that this gets overlooked quite often, and had some at the office. Had to remind the young gentleman that my husband had asked for ketchup to be place in the bag.
Most of the individual could use some training there. The manager was in the back, who knows doing what. I do think that she did make a mango chicken salad for the gentleman that waited on us.
