Litterer's Food Court 1997 — Restaurant in Ocean City

The food wasn’t terrible but the price was ABSOLUTELY unacceptable, along with the portions too. Most restaurants in America are generous with what they give you, this place was ridiculously small portions. The food was mid, and the fries were either too burnt, or partially uncooked, and you needed a condiment like ketchup just for it to taste good. It was so disappointing to see what we got and how it tasted considering the price we payed. They also will charge you extra for things you didn’t ask for, like tomatoes, lettuce, etc. One of the items we got was a quesadilla and we received the smallest 3 triangles, barely with any cheese or chicken, essentially just tortilla and a crap ton of lettuce and tomato, and it was $13. Outrageously high. I think this place needs better cooks and better quality of food, or to as least lower the prices. This is essentially just a scam of...

This is the epitome of a 3-star experience. Our waitperson seemed confused by everything and was slow as molasses. (Given that we were there the week before Labor Day, I doubt they were new.) We were a super undemanding table, and yet it took ages to get drinks or our check.

The food was mediocre as could be. It all came out pretty quickly and was all correct, so points for that, but there was nothing else much to recommend it.

I had high hopes for the lemonade, since they say that's their claim to fame, but I routinely get better lemonade from food trucks.

There was no line to be seated (I guess because veteran Ocean City Boardwalkers know better than to go here), so Litterer's fulfilled our requirement of getting our kids fed ASAP. That's something at least (and they had no complaints). Otherwise, I can't...

The court was 1/2 filled when we got there around 2:30 for lunch. Our waitress was very prompt in greeting us. Drinks came out quickly. That's when things began to go slowly. The room did fill up with customers. However our order was already placed so we thought "no problem". That was a mistake. 20 minutes later our meal was finally served. While my chicken parm sub was excellent, my French fries were dripping with oil and very undercooked. My wife's chicken wrap was so wet it was soggy. Her salad was 80% white iceberg lettuce, not very appetizing. The final insult was the charge for a platter of fries- $6.95. A total rip off. I can't comment on their pizza or burgers but I can tell you it will a long time before I give them...
