Wow JJ's bar is a little kept secret of a bar located in Brick Town district of OKC. I do not kno where to start, but if you early you start downstairs than move up to listen to great live music. They have smoking areas outside on the down floor and a very nice deck on the 2nd floor with tables, ASH TRAYS and often times someone will play music outside on the 2nd floor. This is literally an alley that has great live music and REASONABLE drinks and a strong pour on mixed drinks. The people there are from hipsters, hippies, business people, young vibrants indiviuals and many free spirited young ladies. So come as you are. I recomend the upstair with live music, the seating is limited as it is a small place so come a little early to get a bar spot or a table right infront of the stage. Expect to see alot of variety in clientel, again come as you are to relax and have a reasonably price drink/drinks.
This is one of my favorite spots, a quiet bar downstairs in the night and a vibrant upstairs bar with a restroom, smoking deck and limited seating and bar stool spots. I give it 5 stars for a Dive Bar, as that...
Read moreThe first night we went, we were downstairs. The lady was really nice, had us convinced to come back. We were on our honeymoon so why not? Second night, we went and decided to give upstairs a shot. Was pretty packed, which was fine until it got to where I was overstimulated. My husband noticed and we paid and left. We only had time for one drink before it got to be too much, and on our way out the bartender, made a comment about if he only came to a bar for one drink he’d just stay home. Which was most definitely directed at my husbands one drink order. We tried ordering more, got ignored. Then as I said above, I got overstimulated, so we figured we’d just leave. Your service sucked and that comment was unnecessary. So, in other words, just go to the downstairs bar if...
Read moreThis was a fun venu. Multiple nooks where locals are showing off their skills in a more skilled version of karaoke. Really dark inside giving you a cozy feel. It did not feel very clean. I am pretty sure this building was added after the fact because it is literally the size of an alley, so the name is very accurate. There are two patios, but that is also where the smokers are. So a win lose there. A $2 cover charge for women. A little more for guys, but I am not sure. Bring cash for the cover. Most of the staff were very friendly. Drink prices are what I would think for a place like this, but more reasonable than most places in Bricktown. Patrons were very friendly. I will probably not be back because of the smoking and cleanliness unless a...
