Skinny Slim's — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

This hole-in-the-wall bar, tucked away on Main and Mickey Mantle in downtown OKC, is a no-frills hangout for beer and soccer lovers.

Between her patio and indoor spaces, she can be a very cozy spot to gather with friends before or after a game at the ball park or Chesapeake arena.

Within the triangular shaped brick building, she offers several craft beer on tap and in cans/bottles, and for something stronger, go for a whiskey shot and beer combo.

With no air conditioning, I can imagine the bar being warm and stuffy on a hot summer day.

Nevertheless, good conversations over several pints in such a casual and laid-back setting is a nice change from all the tourisy fanfare...

The main bartender there with a beard and brown hair that never smiles is pretty rude and no customer service skills whatsoever. I've gone to Skinny Slims several times when no one was there and the bartender failed to 1. Remember my name 2.Make me a drink that I always request Everytime and 3.To make me feel welcome. He has a bad attitiude and there are probably no customers there because of his attitude. I stopped giving them my business MONTHS AGO because of that bartender making me not feel welcomed at all at their bar. This isn't a bar that I would recommend because this bartender is very annoyed...

Awesome Barman, knows all the beers and makes good drinks without looking it up, knows Bricktown like a travel guide. Reminded my friend and I of a small German drinking house or an English Pub. We know as both of us spent years in Europe... About 8 bär chairs and 5 round tables for 4. That said Soccer and Football, World Series its packed with like 40 people in its small, very cool place!
