I enjoy the ambiance, However the quality of the food less than acceptable 🤮🤢I ordered a Horchata water, I had to ask for a coke instead because it was terrible in taste. My favorite water is in Tapa at Jimmy’s Tacos. My Chicken fajitas were ok, no flavor whatsoever, the few chicken strip were on a large bed of onions🧅 and green peppers 🫑. The only good thing I ate was the homemade tortillas. We also ordered Shrimp 🍤 quesadilla, it was disgustingly greasy. We had a Delicious beef quesadilla at La familia Mexican restaurant in Gainesville, FL this particular shrimp quesadilla was soaked in oil from the heavily loaded onions and green peppers. I barely saw any melted cheese. Our server Alfonso was fast and friendly, However I was disappointed that I requested my receipt 3 times before he finally handed to me, the server Alfonso came to the table with a handheld device, did Not Hand me a Receipt first, he charge my credit card, the rest of my party left as I waited for my receipt, 3 minutes went by still No Receipt. My friend finally said the server is chatting with the hostess at the front desk, so I got up went up to him to request my receipt, I don’t know if he forgot about it, or was trying to deceive me since we left a generous tip, I was charged $19 and some change for a large party fee. If you end up going Request they give a receipt before you hand your credit/debit card. I Never signed the receipt. The rest room was very filthy, considering that it was 4:00pm and hardly anyone was in the restaurant when we arrive. The service is fast. Also an empty glass of margarita behind me the whole time I was dinning, on top of like a wall shelf. I Will Not Be returning to this Mexican restaurant again. I do Not recommend it either.

The waitress was completely inattentive and never came to check on us. We had to search for her every time we needed something. She brought us fajitas without lime or salsa. I asked if they had green salsa, and she said yes, but it turned out to be a store-bought Herdez salsa that wasn’t spicy at all. On top of that, they charged me for it without informing me beforehand—I only noticed when I saw it on the bill! They give you three tortillas per fajita order, but they’re store-bought, poorly microwaved, and came out hard and awful. Every time we asked the waitress for something, she made a face like it bothered her to serve us. But when I asked for the bill (yes, I had to ask for it too), she suddenly showed up immediately and returned just a few seconds later to ask if I was ready to pay. I decided to pay by scanning the QR code on the receipt. The only person who offered to refill my drink was a young man who wasn’t even our waiter—maybe he was the manager. I came to this restaurant because of the good reviews, but it was such a disappointment! The food was average at best, and the service was terrible. Oh, and after the chips and appetizers, we waited over 35 minutes for our food. We only got it because we asked the waitress if it was ready. When the food finally arrived, one of the guys serving us spilled the charro beans and left us with a half-filled bowl. He never replaced it! By the way, their charro beans were nothing like what they should be—just bean water with a few scattered beans. Debut and farewell! We came from Texas, and I would never return.

San Marcos Mexican Restaurant in Panama City Beach is an absolute gem! We stopped in for dinner during our visit and were blown away by the incredible flavors and top-notch service. We ordered the Camarones a la Crema and the Fish and Shrimp Dinner, and both were pure perfection. The Camarones a la Crema was a dream. The chipotle sauce was perfectly balanced, with a tangy, creamy kick that made the veggies and shrimp practically melt in your mouth. The Fish and Shrimp Dinner was equally impressive; the fish was cooked to flaky perfection, and the shrimp were seasoned so well they burst with flavor. One thing I want to highlight is - Salsa. It lacked flavor and that punch you get in a Mexican Restaurant. Come on guys, Salsa should be the signature of any Mexican Restaurant. You can't go wrong there.. Ask your chef to taste and update the Salsa prep. The service was outstanding, attentive, warm and made us feel right at home. San Marcos is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, delicious Mexican food. We can’t recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favor and go! You won’t be disappointed.

We had no wait on a Tuesday night. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas. Overall it was average, nothing special about them. They came out piping hot. The peppers were cooked nicely ans flavorful. The steak was pretty tough. It came with sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, Pico and rice and beans. Shredded cheese was extra. I personally didn't care for the beans, they were flavorless. I didn't try the rice because I don't eat rice. I had the corn tortillas and they were fresh and warm.

Other members of the party got the deluxe burrito beef and liked it.

The burria tacos and said they were very good.

The kiddos got the kids corn dog and fries and ate the entire thing.

You get complementary chips ans salsa, the chips were fresh by looking at them. Did not eat because they were not gluten free. The salso had a nice kick to it.

Service staff was average and not very friendly and slightly slow. Didn't come back to check on refills. When it came time to pay, my meal was added to my sister's check so I asked to have is separated and it seemed like that was an inconvenience. They used the handheld and when the waitress came to me I let her know I was paying cash and she just told me $20. Didn't give me a check. She continued to hover over me while I was getting my money out. I asked about how much it was and then she showed me the screen and it was $19.42. I handed her a $20 and never got my change. It was...
