Recently, I had the unfortunate experience of dining at an Arby’s location, and I feel compelled to express my deep dissatisfaction with every aspect of my visit. From the moment I entered the restaurant to the time I left, the experience was nothing short of terrible. What was supposed to be an enjoyable meal turned into an ordeal that left me frustrated, disappointed, and determined never to return.
First and foremost, the staff at this Arby’s was shockingly rude. Rather than being greeted with a smile or a friendly welcome, I was met with eye rolls and an attitude that made me feel like I was inconveniencing them simply by placing an order. When I politely asked a question about the menu, the employee responded in a dismissive and irritated tone, as if I should have known the answer myself. It’s one thing to be busy or under pressure, but basic courtesy and respect should never be too much to expect.
The food itself was equally disappointing. I ordered what I thought would be a fresh, hot meal, but what I received was cold, greasy, and unappetizing. The sandwich was soggy, the meat tasted old, and the fries were limp and flavorless. I’ve enjoyed Arby’s at other locations in the past, but this particular meal was downright nasty. It was clear that little care had been put into preparing or presenting the food.
As if the poor attitude and bad food weren’t enough, the service was painfully slow and disorganized. I waited far longer than reasonable for my simple order, even though there weren’t many other customers in line. When my food finally arrived, it was incomplete, and I had to go back and ask for the missing items. This only seemed to irritate the staff further.
Finally, the atmosphere in the restaurant was incredibly unpleasant. The dining area was loud, chaotic, and dirty. Tables hadn’t been cleaned, trash bins were overflowing, and the noise level made it impossible to enjoy any part of the meal. Rather than a casual, comfortable place to sit and eat, it felt more like a stressful, unpleasant environment that I couldn’t wait to leave.
In conclusion, my visit to Arby’s was marked by rude staff, nasty food, poor service, and a terrible atmosphere. I hope that management takes this feedback seriously, as no customer deserves to have such a negative experience. I sincerely hope improvements are made so that future guests do not have to go...
Read moreI ordered in the drive thru and the worker was short with me from the moment I began. I mentioned I’d like some Arby’s sauce with my meal, she cut me off and said “Ask at the window”. I completed my order (which consisted of two separate payments because I got my coworker their order). I pull up to the window and present the money for the first payment along with a coupon that I had received in the mail. The lady at the window asks her Team Lead for help applying it. The Team Lead (who had taken my order) huffs and tells me “From now on you need to tell us you have coupons before you order” as she helps her Trainee with the coupon. I asked “Does it say that on the coupon?” to which she says “No, but it’s just what you do in the drive thru because now I have to go in here and do your order all over again”. She was obviously upset and had been in a bad mood from the time I pulled into the drive thru. I unfortunately had a coupon for my second order, and debated even giving it to her. But then I wondered why lose out on the savings just because of a huffy person? So I presented my next coupon for the second payment. The manager had since walked away and the poor Trainee had to ask her to come help with the coupon again. Loudly, the Team Lead says for me to hear “From now on we will NOT be accepting ANY coupons unless they tell us in the drive thru” and walks away after applying the second coupon. At this point, I’m upset. I asked the Trainee, an elderly woman (who was the only polite individual in this whole experience) “What is her name?”. She of course wouldn’t tell me, claiming she didn’t know because she had just started, but guessed “Amanda maybe?”. I told her that it was fine, thanked her for my food (that ended up tasting like wet dog food and wasn’t good at ALL) and left. I’m NEVER using the Arby’s in Pigeon Forge on the Parkway again. My experience on 8/12/23 after several unpleasant ones in the last year have made the decision for me. This place has gone downhill and it’s ridiculous to send out coupons in an effort to get more business, only to treat the people using them like garbage. Long wait for terrible food, and horrible service from people that are supposed to set an example in higher positions. Disappointed is an...
Read moreI work with doordash I waited almost 2 hours to try and get close to the speaker and at that point I was done irritated cause I was supposed to already have the customers food and have it to them. But i waited then pulled to the 2nd speaker where i continued to sit and no one said hold a moment or anything and there was no signs up anywhere saying that it couldn't be used but they was apparently taking one order at a time so I figure well since the order im getting should already be made or close to it i could pull to the window and ask for it and to ask why they was so slow he said that there was only him and two others there then informedme that the order was not readyand I would then have to get back in line to get the order and the line was on the parkway all the way back to Golden corral and would of took two more hours at least just to get close to the building so I canceled the order. So not only did it waste my gas it lost me an order and money this is my job I have to do it to make money like them. Also, First of all I've worked in fast food and I've worked on a busy night with me and two other people and we got then through fast the longest they would wait was maybe 30 mins depending on what and how much they ordered, two why would you schedule 3 people to work for a store thats got a busy drive through on most nights but especially on labor day weekend when pigeon forge is slammed with people. I plan to call management tomorrow cause I'm not the only one I'm sure and it is ridiculous to...
