Staff are always very friendly. Food is good. I love the tomato asiago soup and the carrot cake especially. The sandwiches are excellent. Place was just recently redecorated and looks very nice, and they changed the layout to reduce the length of the wait. I really recommend the inexpensive breakfast menu. I would encourage them to add more ingredients to the salads or try to rotate in some special salads or something. The salads are pretty good but a bit on the boring side. Joseph Smith Memorial Building is one of the most beautiful buildings ever. I went during Christmas season. There was a choir singing hymns and christmas carols. I sat there and was transported to the perfect Christmas. The tree and decorations are perfect. It was very tastefully adorned and the time I spent there was very pleasant. The cluster of restaurants under this company serve some of the best tasting food in the downtown area. The Lion House rolls are some of the best rolls I have ever eaten. I dined at their Garden restaurant at the top of the Joseph Smith memorial building a month ago. Food was amazing, as was the customer service. Worth the extra price you pay for the food.
