We eat out a lot! In the city and when traveling. Today was our first time eating here. We walked by and saw the sign for brunch Saturday and Sunday so we decided to stop in and try it out. We were given a table outside in the parklet. We sat at the table for at least 10 minutes and no one came back to bring us menus or check in with us, so my husband finally walked in and grabbed us menus. It was quite a while longer when someone finally came be to take our order. We waited a really long time to get our first round of mimosas, which were delivered just before the food arrived. Our drinks were finished well before our food was eaten, but yet again no one came by to check on us until we were about done eating. Finally, someone came to clear our plates and asked if we wanted another round. We said yes. About 15-20 minutes later the server came to the table next to us and my husband flagged her down to ask for the check and we informed her we never received our second round of drinks so please make sure it's not on our bill. She asked if we still want them and we said no, we've waited long enough. This was by far the poorest/slowest service we have experienced in years. Also, this is my first two star review I have ever left. I struggled with leaving one star because I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. It wasn't incredibly busy and the food was just okay. Although we will never be back to this place, hopefully they will use this feedback to improve their practices for...
Read moreDang, this is a hard review to leave because I love trivia with Erin at Harry’s, but I felt really uncomfortable coming with friends and having to meet a $30 minimum per person, and constantly being made aware of it. I had made a reservation for 6 knowing friends would come and go. At some point we had 8 people there at the same time and were asked to meet a minimum of $30pp for whoever was there. I just wanted to be able to enjoy being there with friends doing trivia. We were ordering drinks and some people were getting food. Being made aware that “we were $100 below our minimum” when we had been ordering nonstop made us feel really unwelcome. I don’t think I’ll be coming back again, which feels horrible because I loved trivia with Erin at Harry’s; but asking us nonstop to order more to meet an arbitrary minimum for a table that had 8-12 people rotating through felt really...
Read moreAttended trivia night for the first time and they were requiring every person to spend a minimum of $30. A friend wanted to buy food for our table that will amount to a minimum of $100 but they wouldn't consider that spending good for 3 people at least for their $30 requirement per person. They should be at least transparent about this $30 per head requirement in their website and wherever they advertise coz if we knew, we would have never come to this bar. It was also packed and everyone was buying a drink at least so we don't understand their $30 requirement business wise. Is it just greed? There were about a dozen of us and definitely will not be back here again. It was also so loud you have to scream at each other to have a conversation. It's so loud around there that the trivia emcee, despite having a mike,...
