As soon as we walked in it was a great atmosphere! Bright colors and a great breeze coming in. I ordered the papaya smoothie ($6) and my husband ordered the fresh & local passion fruit juice ($4) and they were absolutely delicious. Definitely fresh fruit! We also had the pastelillos which were only $2.50 and they were great quality and size for the price. I had the rellenos de pollo (chicken mofongo) and my husband had the shrimp which came with a side of your choice (both under $15). Both were great portions and were absolutely delicious— you can tell everything is homemade and made with fresh ingredients. Overall this place is a great place for a relaxing meal or snack, whether you’re drinking a beer and chilling, having breakfast with your family, or grabbing a coffee to go, it’s perfect...

This little corner cafe with the open air view is my joint whenever I’m washing clothes and I just want a quick snack like an empanadilla and a cafe. Their food is cheap as it should be, most lunch specials are sub $10. The breakfast is cheaper and might be the cheapest breakfast on Calle Loíza, beside a ham and cheese sandwich from just about anywhere… It seems like a family operated place, service takes time so be decisive. The ambiance is always a party, some music and always happy people in and out, can also get busy with tourists. They close early like 4pm but when they do stay open it’s usually to party with karaoke or a DJ and they sell beers and drinks. I also brought that beautiful woman here with her son...

The ambience is a vibe as soon as you see the restaurant, open to the public eye, you are in good view of the outside as well as the beautiful cultural decor of the restaurant itself. I got the chuletas fritas and the pins colada !! Absolutely DELICIOUS!! You can taste the love! The staff is very friendly, Myra was my lovely hostess. I would definitely come back not only for the amazing service but also the delicious and...

Great spot for breakfast. Get a coffee, get a juice or smoothie, and get a sandwich. Excellent start to the day. Helps to know some Spanish. Server kindly taught me that locally orange juice is “jugo de china.”
