I tried to like this restaurant. Day one: I popped in for lunch. The restaurant was empty but they told me it would be a 25 minute wait to be seated. I said, there is nobody in here, the hostess said, we only have two servers, I cannot seat you. I left. Second try: popped in for dinner. Just me. She said I could sit at the bar (which was full), or wait 45 minutes to an hour for a table. I did not want to sit at a bar to have my dinner with people getting wasted. I said, there is an empty table for two right there, may I sit there? My preference is a table. The hostess said, there is a list of people waiting for that table. I added my name for the table and I waited about 10 minutes when a seat opened at the bar, so I reluctantly went there. It was already 8pm and it was getting late. The entire time I sat at the bar, that table for two behind me remained available. About an hour after I arrived, they seated somebody at that table. While seated at the bar, the bartender was SLAMMED. She was obviously the busiest person in the place, and she was doing her best. We all waited quite a while for any request, and to place orders. Oddly, she did card me for a beer. I'm 45. A woman came over and sat next to me, ordered a glass of wine, also got carded. She announced that she was 50. She didn't have her ID so they turned her away. Neither of us look anywhere near 21 or younger. Maybe it's a city thing, given the location. Who knows. She never returned. There were dirty plates in front of guests at the bar who were waiting for them to be cleared. At least 3 or 4 stations. Others at the bar were waiting on checks (with their dirty dishes), one couple waited forever for their drinks. They just kept glaring at the bartender confused by all the drinks she was making, but sending away. We all kept looking at each other like, what is going on in this place? At one point the assistant manager, Eric, brought over two pizzas for some guys sitting at the bar, but hadn't cleared their dirty dishes before setting the pizzas down. After setting the pizza down, he finally took the used plates because there was no room! He also took their used forks, never to return with fresh cutlery. He did the same thing with me. Eric, when you clear, be sure to mark prior to bringing fresh food out. People need something to eat with. Clear, mark, then deliver the food. He was also clearing vacant tables to the side of the bar while those of us at the bar waited for somebody to clear our plates and check on us. Vacant tables can wait a minute. Don't disservice those currently dining by keeping them waiting. He kept walking by the bar and looking at the dirty plates but never once, until I said something, did he clear them. Two empty hands, and all he kept doing was walking back to his station to check receipts and look at his iphone. Grab some dishes on your way back and drop them off in the bus bin! Help out! This guy also used his hand to wipe off the top of the red pepper shaker! Then took it to a guest! Management definitely didn’t have their eye on the big picture. It was so obvious that those of us at the bar were being neglected. The bar top was a mess. Where is the barback? Support your bartender! This is why I didn’t want to sit there. Diners are totally neglected! Management needs a pulse on what's going on in that place so that you can jump in and pick up the slack where needed. They do not. The customer feels it. They need to take leaps and strides in the customer experience department. The food was not bad. Mostly tasty, but it's definitely not worth coming back for, given the current standard of customer service in that place. From what I could tell, if anybody seated was experiencing good service it was the result of hiring the right servers. Servers who had experience. They knew service protocols and had their eyes on the right things, the assistant...

This place has poor choices in management overall on all levels that directly reflects on the quality of the entire experience.
As a business traveler, I can say the front line management as well as the higher level management are seriously deficient in the fact that they are not listening to customer feedback and complaints. They feel they can give you whatever slop the want and not their problem. They are unable to accept any complaint related to their performance.
Food arrived too early and undercooked. Waited at least 30 minutes watching manager playing on cell phone with establishment clueless that my order was outstanding. Manager was completly oblivious to what was happening in the restaurant.
Asked for "him" to complain about situation and he immediately threatened me with security and stormed away. He was unable to cope with fact that he did not do his job.
After, as I left, another "manager" had long discussion with me where I informed him his employee was inappropriate to manage such restaurant and it would hurt his business overall as my incident had multiple customers leaving based on the other managers attitude. He seemed receptive but it was all fake.
Once "resolved", I went down the river walk to different establishment where previous manager suddenly showed up and denied me service. You can't make this up.
Of course, I left... but what is astonishing is that all of these managerial levels are ignorant to their prime function - customer service. And this is somehow connected to Marriott?
I can just advise, as a local guide and world traveler, this place is NOT where you want to go.
And, because I complained in the most civil way possible, they called security like I was a criminal to expect what I...
