So upsetting. We came for a Bach party and had heard so highly of this place. We walked in, paid our cover fees and were waiting for our group to finish paying before advancing into the packed building (so we didn’t lose one another) and the security guard was very abrasive and rude and ushering us in saying “we had to move away from the entrance, keep moving forward ladies”. Okay, cool. We understood. We get it, it keeps the flow going. Well right when you walk in there is a bar to the right. The place was packed and only so many places to move around in there?? We all move forward as requested per rude security guy and we slowly started getting drinks at the bar. It was an all cash bar and we needed cash so we were waiting for the ATM directly behind us to get drinks. He came back up to us two more times and proceeded to harass us and yell at us about “not listening” and “he shouldn’t have to repeat himself to move forward”.. Super rude. He then proceeded to tell us after some small choice of words had passed between us (because we are all super respectful but enough was enough) on how rude and abrasive he was being that “he doesn’t want to have to escort us out” well no worries buddy, establishment like this and having this happen not even 10 mins in the door was an eye opener so we left on our own accord. $10 cover fee literally gone after being in there for less than 10 mins. What is even worse is the bouncer outside was so apologetic when we told him what happened coming out and we could tell based off of his response that this seems to be a typical occurrence? So disappointing. This place unfortunately needs to be do better if they even remotely care about their business or having business. We left and went over to Stafford’s next door and had a wonderful time so the night was not ruined! Don’t waste your time...

My friends and I went to Savannah for a vacation. We went to dinner one of the nights here to hear the music. Musicians were excellent. Fun atmosphere, drinks were mediocre but I didn’t notice any serious issues at the time. I paid with my credit card, which our server took back and kept back for a while (to the point my friends and I began to wonder what was happening). We returned back to the West Coast, about not quite 2 weeks later and I get a call from my bank stating someone was manually inputting my credit card info traced back to a store in the East Coast. I immediately canceled that card and changed all my information to be safe. I went back looking through my bank statements and saw that I only used that card once on our trip which was at that bar. I called the manager to just let him know. (I wasn’t looking for anything nor at the time did I intend on writing a review, I just wanted to let him know as I’d like to know if I was managing a bar). The manager became very defensive, aggressive, and confrontational and hung up on me. (I have a witness who over heard the phone call as it was on speaker since I was doing house work while on the phone). A “thou protest too loudly” act for me and a huge red flag. Just a heads up to those touring the area, either dodge this place altogether or pay only...

This bar is one of your best bets in Savannah near River Street. Just a ton of fun and you can end up easily spending a few hours in here! Dueling pianos as you would expect, but this one also has the addition of a drummer, and sometimes even a little synthesizer. They mix up the singers/players every so often, which keeps it fresh. Gets fun and rowdy and they willingly takes song recommendations with a $20 or more tip. All kinds of songs and genres are performed so something for everyone. They also let groups get up on stage to sing along, again, for the right amount of cash. It gets very full and busy but even still, getting a drink was very quick in my experience. Tables are first come, first serve but whenever you see a spot open up, you can just jump on it. The place is actually pretty large but even if you can’t find a table, there are lots of places that you can stand. There is a $10 cover charge. Don’t miss this!
