This place treats patrons like criminals.
The security team are hostile, aggressive and should be nowhere near hospitality, maybe a prison..
The staff working are some of the rudest and incompetent I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant or takeout. They forgot our order which meant waiting 30 minutes for a pizza to which they then denied we ordered even after proof of payment. Turns out the person who served me went on break after taking our order and didn’t communicate to the other 4/5 people working.
Then told we could not wait inside any longer for the pizza by the security because ‘we probably ordered something too complicated and should have just ordered a slice of something that was already made…?’ (Ordered 1 standard pepperoni pizza $25) told to stand in one spot and not move or we would be removed. Staff then laughed that we were having to wait so long.
Outside feels unsafe with people loitering around all the surrounding alleyways and front.
When I asked the security guard why they are treating everyone this way he said, I’ve watched six people die here in the last six months. Well sir your aggressive handling of people is an act of violence itself. You are all victims of your own actions and create an atmosphere of fear and hatred.
If there’s so much crime centred around this sketchy pizza place then they should not be allowed to operate.
What a shame Savannah has your restaurant bringing down the whole southern hospitality vibe of the city.
Don’t get me wrong I’m from big cities and I’m no stranger to late night takeouts having security. But this team of clowns are an insult to...
Read moreI should have read the reviews... stopping through on our way from Orlando to DC, we decided to stay in Savannah. The girl that everyone is mentioning HAS to be the same young lady that was working this evening.
Arriving with my daughter and husband around 1130 PM we went to use the restroom and the door was not closed, but appeared stuck. I knocked multiple times and didn't hear anyone. Then I noticed the door stop was down so I removed that, still no luck. I asked the woman, "Excuse me ma'am, does your bathroom door stick?" She looked at me like I had five heads and said that someone was probably in there. I told her that this was a possibility, but asked again if the door sticks and explained what happened but got the same attitude.
We then got our pizza, which was not fantastic (not hot, appeared burned), and I began to explain to my husband my very obvious frustration and the man at the register said "she told you someone was in there!" when he was not anywhere near us to hear our conversation. Then the not-so-lovely woman threatened to pull up the security video and I asked her to please do so. She left, we attempted to finish our paper-thin pizza, and then left because she obviously wasn't following through with her threat.
I would absolutely love for the respectful person that responds to these reviews to check the video and tell me that I'm wrong... along with all of the other patrons that won't return because of the horrible late night...
Read morejust as the slew of others have stated, the pizza is fair but the female staff is bizarrely RUDE. the girls that work there at night seem to be trying to start petty fights/arguments with customers just because they know it wont be handled and they can get away with it, in the time it took for me to sit and eat one slice of pizza i actually watched a childish girl that worked there roll her eyes and make faces at someone ordering a whole pizza to go, then when it was finished she slammed her fist on the counter three times and huffed "hey wake up, get your pizza" in a loud disrespectful tone, i watched the entire transaction and the guy, did nothing to elicit this type of response, he was simply politely sitting and waiting on his pizza. then the same thing happened with another guy that walked in ordering some slices of pizza for his two little girls, it clearly was his first time in there and he was fascinated by how large the pizzas were that were going in the oven and when he was asking some questions about it the girl that worked there at first turned her back and walked off and completely ignored him, and then came back rolled her eyes and snapped at him "are you going to order anything?" they guy was in a great mood and you could tell he quickly was soured by the experience. just sad and trashy. avoid this place. Dino's pizza is open just as late, as is the newly built Moe's on...
