Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Sevierville

Only gave a 1 star to leave this review. My family and I love auntie Anne’s pretzels and unfortunately this is the closest auntie Anne’s to us. Every visit is met with long wait times easily exceeding 20 minutes, sometimes as long as 40 minutes. Due to the location (Tanger Outlet) I’ve not complained. But todays visit I decided to place an online order. Order was supposed to be ready for pickup at 342. I did not arrive until 350. They hadn’t even started my order. They started to fill half of my order with a very burnt/black pretzel even after I told them up front I did not want that one. 90% of the pretzels in their display was very badly burnt. Even placing an online order, I had to wait over 20 minutes for an order that was supposed to had been completed prior to my arrival. Not to mention, when I told them I would wait for fresh pretzels, I was informed they may not be making anymore. They would still be open for 3 hours, had a very long line of people, and all of their pretzels on display are burnt as mentioned above. I then told them I would take a refund and they told me they would make more. Given the terrible rating of this location, I don’t understand why management isn’t stepping in to help their staff and provide better training. I went into this pretzel place yesterday to get me some lunch because I work at one of the other stores a few spots down I was so excited that they was so close to where I work because I love there food I went in to order my pretzels and I ordered a small was told they didn't have any smalls made right now that I would have to order a large even though there menu states they have small orders so I got a large didn't get offered cheese for my pretzels so I had to do a separate transaction to get cheese then I ordered a frozen vanilla coffee and wanted a small was told I couldn't do a small in that drink but it clearly shows on the menu you can order a small so I ordered a large this was all in my first transaction I was extremely disappointed in the service I received at this location and the employees were very unfriendly I will not be returning to this location next time I will go to the one in Walmart the sad part is I would have been a loyal customer to them had they of been better seeing I work so close to them I wouldn't recommend going to this...

They were very busy, lined up outside of the door for hours at the Tanger outlet mall today 4/12/22, we had to keep checking back time and time again. Finally able to get in line when it slowed down a tiny bit. I believe they were just short staffed, there were only two employees inside, one cooking and the other running the whole store basically by herself as the man stayed in the back only. I grabbed the Classic 6 pack already boxed but still had to wait inline for about 10 minutes as there was just the one register open. They were discounted per Tuesday special so that helped balance all the hassle and waiting.
