PANINO Solvang — Restaurant in Solvang

I wandered into this place wanting an Iced coffee. There was a good variety of options on the blackboard. I proceeded to order the Mexican cocoa. The size of the drink was good for the price. However, once I took the first sip... YUCK!!! It had this horrible flavor and after taste. Knowing what mexican cocoa tastes like I know that this wasn't it. The fact that I had to pay for whip cream is a joke. If you want a good flavored coffee then go to the liquor store in town and purchase a cold premade coffee. Now to customer service, the young woman tending the counter wasn't very friendly. In fact it seemed like I was inconveniencing her. Not good for business at all. I do not recommend this...

Food was fine but they managed a late lunch rush horribly. We came in at 2, waited in line for 15 minutes and once you make it to the front of the line, they tell you it will be 25 minute wait. Ok no big deal, but we didn’t get our sandwiches until 3 pm, which was double the amount of time they told us. It turns out they ran out of bread… which would have been nice to know ahead of time or at least by the time we were quoted. We would have rather gone to a nice sit down restaurant versus what we thought was going to be a quick sandwich lunch stop....

Delightful little place with a whole list of vegetarian sandwich options! If you ask them, they have menu with the popular sandwiches highlighted which helped narrow down the options for me. They also allow you to add veggies into your sandwich/ have make your own options, if you feel like you need some additional toppings in your sandwich.

I got the mixed veggie sandwich, with artichoke and green pepper added. The goats cheese was the creamiest I’ve had in ages. Great bread too! I wish I had asked this to be...
