This place was a absolutely horrible, from the moment we walked in it was just a disaster. The person seating us was rude asked how many in our party & walked away. I guess we were supposed to follow her cause she grabbed menus & threw them on the table. I had to search to find someone to seat us inside because it was raining & there were tons of bugs outside. We finally are seated inside & waited about 10 minutes for a server who was beyond rude. She seemed miserable & annoyed that she had to serve us. She asked for our drink order & I.D's as I forgot mine in the car but my son & girlfriend were able to order, I asked if she could use a picture of my ID & make an exception given that I'm 48 & he was my son, she said absolutely not! Just thought I'd ask but not a big deal . I'd steer away from the cocktails as they were mediocre & overpriced anyway. My boyfriend ordered orange soda & she brought him a coke to the table. I asked her whose it was she said his, I replied with I'm sorry he did not order this & she replied well we don't have orange & walked away. I should have stuck to my instincts & walked out at that point like I wanted to but I knew my family was hungry. He ordered a Shirly Temple with no ice seems simple right? No she brought it over filled to the brim with ice & walked away didn't even ask if we wanted apps or were ready to order. We had to call her back to the table to order. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an app that were 12$ for 5 sticks which is a bit steep. My son asked for grated parmesan cheese & she rolled her eyes at him & brought him shredded cheese ????? We then ordered they have no onions or grilled mushrooms to add to your burger & she was extremely rude when I asked if they did have them so I opted for the Texas Burger, others at the table ordered the Buffalo Chicken wrap, Christie Burger & Chicken Fingers & Fries nothing comes with french fries so you have to add them on for $3.99 which is fine but when they are served cold & you refuse to take them off the bill it's just crazy!! Our food took forever the wait time was unacceptable for 2 medium rare burgers & chicken fingers. The server was no were to be found the entire time never checking on us until she brought the bill. My boyfriend had his finished plate in front of him with a napkin on it & she proceed to ask him if she could take the plate or if he wanted to LICK IT? Lick it? I was appalled who says something like that??? So when she returned he asked her "did you ask me if I wanted to lick my plate like a dog?" she replied "ohh it was a joke I joke with my customers like that???!!!!!" My question is who jokes like that? I am a server & a bartender for over 15 years & would never treat my customers so poorly. I felt like we were not welcomed at all & judged being that my son is mixed & boyfriend is Jamaican. Bad choice in restaurant on my part & I felt horrible that I chose this for my family to enjoy dinner. If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would! Don't waste your time unless you want to be treated like an outcast & have...
Read moreDangerous place. The owner is violent. DO NOT go to this establishment if you plan to keep your family SAFE. I was having a beer with my friends and, light-heartedly, tried to toss the empty bottle in the garbage (maybe I shouldn't have tried that). I missed, went to go pick up my bottle and was blind-sided by the owner. He got in my face, started bull-rushing me out into the deck in front of a crowd, cussing in my face and grabbing me by the shirt. He screamed at me to get the "F" out of his bar, and just as I went back in from the deck to go downstairs (to leave), a bouncer charged me and and started shoving me out the door; apparently I didn't know there was an exit on the deck. Nonetheless, I had been assaulted TWICE (they were both fairly strong dudes). I couldn't legally retalliate physically, but he wasn't going to get away with this, so I called the county sheriff to have a word. When the officers found him, he came out and started talking "tough" some more, proceeding to call me a little boy and telling me, almost word-for-word, "You're gonna have fun this summer because now I have your name and address." This man is likely in his 50s, mind you. Now, I did think there may have been a misunderstanding as he perhaps thought that I threw a bottle at him or something, but it didn't even hit him and was lightly tossed to the garbage 2 feet away. Most likely, he was upset that I went behind the bar; he was absolutely ridiculous to put his hands on me like that. The police, however, told me they had a history with this man. It gets better; a day later, friends showed me a video posted online of this man screaming at another customer for asking to split his check, cussing him out, destroying his bank card and punching him over the bar. There were 4 or 5 reviews online stating that this man (the owner) behaved violently in some way during their visit. What a shame; I don't know if this man is insecure and frustrated, or if he is just a dominant jerk, but he is a bear waiting to be poked. Again, please do NOT go here if you're concerned with not getting in a physical confrontation you didn't go there for....
Read moreI treated for a family gathering here. The mussels ordered as someone's dinner were so salty they were not edible. When I asked for new butter sauce they said no. They did not offer a new dinner. The server said she would take it off the bill so I said ok. Then at some point she brought my guest a glass of house wine told her it was on the house. I was not aware of this I would not have agreed. My guest should have gotten new food she could eat. When I got the bill the meal was still on the tab. This was a very expensive dinner for 11 adults, 2 kids. I weant up to the bar to talk to the server. She brought the manager over who said , the same the sauce is the sauce no replacement, offered no substitute meal and said we don't comp meals. I told her I don't know if the server is new but she said she was taking it off the bill. That should have been made clear, the manager was quite snitty to me. No concern for our bad food or the server misrepresenting. I gave the server cash and told her to please bring me my change. It should have been 50 dollars it was 3 bucks. I went up and asked the sever for my change at this point she started to cry. I had never raised my voice to her and even said I wasn't mad at her but the situation. I was a little testy with the manager who was snitty to me. I got my change and went back to my table. Then this guy comes to our table and starts yelling at me saying I made his sister cry in front of my guests and the entire resteraunt. I have never been so embarrassed...What kind of place does not offer a solution to an order which is not edible. Backs out of compensating, Keeps my cash not allowing me to decide what to tip. Then staff comes over and yells at me. If you choose to go here don't complain about your food just...
