Slice — Restaurant in Town of Lake George

I wish I could have rated this pizzeria a Zero. I am an African American women with a white husband and two small mixed children. I went there with my husband and two children 6&7. We went in as a family for lunch. We were the only ones in this restaurant at 12:00 and we get seated outside in there patio area. Then my 7 year old had to use the bathroom. I went downstairs and asked if my daughter could use the bathroom and I was told no to go across the street to the public restroom. So I took my daughter and when I returned Several minutes later my husband could not believe what had happened. So he went downstairs and asked To use the restroom to the same women who told me no and she said sure on the right. When my husband confronted her and just asked why would you do this she then slide my $40 pizza across the table like we were dogs. So we left our food and drinks that we paid for untouched. To say disgusted would be a compliment. I am in Lake George for work. I work with people with disabilities. After getting our food the person preparing the boxes put them on the counter sarcastically saying " 17 slices ..idk " realizing our order may have frustrated the staff I said " thank you my friend " on the way out. To my suprise the man replied " I'm not your friend " wich to be honest was a pretty weird replie but whatever. Then as I made my way to the exit ...the owner turns around and says " take care of your retards " . I couldn't believe it. We were respectful and caused no issues the entire time. While our separate order's may have been a little frustrating I didn't see it as being a reason for such harmful talk. This was disturbing and I am taking it further then this post. Nobody should be treated that way especially after spending money and being nothing but polite. Tonight we enjoyed Lake George Classic car show. We stopped in pizzeria to get a slice before we went home. We asked for cheese and pepperoni They were out at that moment and we were asked to step aside to wait. We said sure. We waited. I made the comment to my husband (private conversation) that I saw 4 cheese pizzas come out while we were waiting which they weren’t out of but no cheese with pepperoni. The cashier yelled at me would I like to come back there and help them. I said calmly I would help if she needed it She screamed at me then get back here!! My husband said he wouldn’t spend money there. I guess the owner should know his cashier was totally inappropriate. She overheard a private conversation and decided she was going to show some rude power. As we left she screamed again in front of a store full of people “have a nice day”.
