UPDATE: Lowering my review even further since: We decided to come back and try this place for Mothers Day (it was me, my mom, and my boyfriends mother with us) and the owner came out and began questioning if we had left a poor review and then confronting us about the review I left, he insisted about the cameras and how his waiter was correct and that we posted a "wrong review" --frankly I was astounded at how stubborn and unimpressive it all was. This seems to be an attempt to fudge reviews. Incredibly disappointing to see an owner act like this. He turned us 3 away (I'd like to reiterate: over $3.75) thankfully my mother had managed to call the bank and get them to refund us more for the principle since the owner was so unreasonable. Honestly, it's almost funny, I was expecting him to apologize when he brought up the review due to the poor service -I'm not a "customer is always right" type of person but wow this was so disappointing, I would have revised my review to something much more positive had he simply apologized or even mention that our next experience would be better and that the dispute was unfortunate. Clearly there is a lack of maturity there I will also now be telling all my friends and family not to come here. I have since found a better conveyor belt sushi place in Bellevue, surprisingly with more reasonable prices, and will take friends there from now on. Honestly, it's just sad to me because I used to really like this place but the owner made it a toxic environment and is potentially discriminatory (I'm biracial and my mom is a darker Southeast Asian) I had seen an older review discussing a lady experiencing racism here and had somewhat glazed over it, but now I'm not so sure....
ORIGINAL: I've been here MANY times, I actually have an entire list of ratings of most of their menu items because I love coming here, I've brought all my friends, my family, it was one of my first dates I was SO disappointed that today the customer service was absolutely terrible, they didn't bring us utensils until we asked, and the straws we requested were never brought These are little things, as a service worker I can understand but where my understanding stops is when they overcharged us by a plate. This hasn't happened before to my knowledge, but this was a substantial order so we went back and asked because we had counted the amount over 4 times between my mother and I and came out with the same total, we had 12 plates split evenly between us After trying to ask for a refund for just one of those plates (a plate that was only 3.75) they put us under a lot of scrutiny, and then pulled out the cameras and claimed that they could count them from an aerial view despite the plates being in the corner and covered by other things and that it was 5, they refused to give a refund of any kind. He said "we don't make mistakes in counting, sorry it just doesn't happen" and implied we couldn't count. Honestly, I can't imagine pulling out cameras to insist over 3.75, just know that they are going to try to overcharge you :/ Make sure to count your plates and...

GREAT service. REALLY GOOD PRICES and good atmosphere. But let's talk about the food.
I ordered the Sushi Nigiri. That's a style of sushi that's just a simple piece of eel on rice with a little "teriyaki style" sauce and a band of seaweed holding it together.
Food came up pretty fast, and the staff was super friendly and nice, but I couldn't help but notice the rice was about half as much per piece as most other sushi places would do. The rice portin for each piece was maybe the size of an ice cube, which looked weird since the fish was more than twice a big. Also, the eel seemed to be WWWAAAAAAYYYYY over cooked. It was literally charred black on one side like they tried to smoke it over a fire before they cut the slices - but then left it on too long. Surprisingly, it was still soft and tender, but you could definitely taste the extra char - which I've not seen before to this level.
Was it edible? Honestly, yeah, it wasn't bad. But I'm still not sure if the extra char was a fluke or if they always do it like this here.
Would I eat here again? Again, if I'm being honest, yeah, probably, considering the price. The flavor profile was unexpected and not my favorite, but it wasn't bad. So if I knew to expect the extra char, I'd say it was definitely still a nice snack (4 pieces of sushi for like $8.50) it's hard to beat the price and the overall experience was nice.

Read moreWe came here for lunch and didnât have to wait for a table, which was nice. The sushi selection was decent, though not as extensive as other conveyor belt spots weâve been to. Prices were relatively cheaper, and the portions on each plate were noticeably larger, which we appreciated.
That said, the quality of the sushi was just okayâdefinitely mid-tier. You can taste the difference compared to higher-end or more carefully prepared sushi.
One major downside was the bathroom. It smelled terribleâa mix of fish water and mold with stuffy air and flies. Definitely not something you want to experience while dining.
At checkout, we also caught an attempted overcharge. The staff tried to ring us up for an extra plate of their most expensive tier (black plate, around $5), but luckily my husband had taken a photo of our plate stack and calculated everything in advance. We pointed it out and they corrected it, but their system is just pencil and paper, which doesnât feel very reliable.
Another letdown was that the conveyor belt sushi had no descriptions, which made it hard to navigate for people with dietary restrictions like us.
Overall, the experience was a 5/10. Itâs cheap and convenient, but the quality, cleanliness, and transparency could use serious...
