TL;DR: Food was good, tea taste good, but the service was lacking and the staff seemed like they didn't really know what they were doing. There's a leadership problem here.

We arrived around 7PM on a Saturday. The first thing I noticed walking in was that the place was near empty (only 1 table of people) and staffing was very light. The second thing that I noticed was that the TV screens that they use to display the menu were all a little crooked. Not a big deal, but all these things give me a little bit of an idea as to the attention to detail of the management of the place.

So I entered the store behind someone else, so I was second in line to order. I still ended up standing there waiting for about 7 minutes - and it only took 2 minutes for the previous customer to order, so I stood there for 5 whole minutes waiting to have my order taken.

Later, as I was eating, I overheard what appeared to be the manager asking if any of the staff liked sweet tea, because she didn't know how much sugar to add. This was only an issue because instead of starting with a fresh brew and adding a set amount of sugar, she had just dumped what was left of the unsweet tea into the sweet tea container, and then placed the new brew to be the new unsweet container. A real amateur move.

I'll cut some slack and give 3 stars instead of the 2, since this was in Idaho. But as a Texan, if this kind of thing happened at home, I'd give 1 or 2 stars - very much amateur hour, but I expect a lot more out of southerners when it...

My work frequently gets catering from here, and I have never been a big fan. My wife and kids wanted to go here so we went. There wasn't anyone up front when we walked in. But I heard someone in the call out that they need sooner one up front. Printout someone came out and started to help the guy in front of us. Shortly came out another employee and started to help us. He was very friendly. I paid for our meal (I never give a tip before I receive service, it kind of annoys me that it even asks.) Anyway, we sat down the kids played musical chairs, we didn't have to wait too long, and two employees came out carrying our food. As we were eating different employees came out and asked us if we wanted refills or how our meal was. I was very impressed. However, it did start to get busy and I noticed that the level of service lessened, but that's understandable. My sandwich was actually not too bad, in fact it was pretty good. When we were done I was inclined to leave a tip on the table. I pulled out my wallet and I only had two ones to give. I put them on the table, my wife gave them back to me and pulled out a ten. I thought to myself, that's a big tip, but it was well deserved. I had my stars set to 4, but after writing this review I feel inclined to give you 5 stars. I'm not sure that I would choose to go here again, but I was way impressed with my experience. Well done...

I went to McAlister's today by myself to haveThe $9.19 Half a sandwich And Soup combo, Well I was rather Disappointed For two reasons #1 When they said any 1/2 sandwich And soup for $9.19 + tax They never mentioned to me that it's a $1.19 more For the corned beef sandwich I think that's fine I am not a cheap person but I do not like to be deceived And my soup was only filled up three-quarters of the way in the small cup And I was told that it was a different person in the back preparing my soup and they didn't No.TheThe bottomThe bottom lineThe bottom line is thisAnd the quantity of food is less Don't give me excuses give me what I pay for I'm not complaining I'm disappointed And I thought it would be best to let you know make sure you get what you pay for But don't be charged extra when you don't know about it I don't like that part of it HellI can spend a lot more money On wasteful things then to worry about a $1.19 more For a sandwich.. But I don't like it added on without telling me before I purchased it If they would have told me that in the beginning I would not have a problem if they filled my soup up to the proper amount I would not have a problem but don't give me excuses please Just do what is right But I must admit their soup is is great along with their sandwich... I'm just venting...

Love me some McAlister's! I catch myself eating a lot of "junk". I think of McAlister's as a real nice break from the burgers and pizza. Ever since they came to Twin Falls I've been enjoying their tea, which I'm not sure if they do it anymore but once upon a time you'd be able to go through the drive thru on a designated day off the week and get a few gallon of tea. That was likely a limited thing though. I almost always get a take 2 as it's difficult to decide on just one thing to get there. The baked potatoes are awesome. Not many places I can order a delicious baked potato and it's ready in 15. Their sandwiches are so good, if you're in the mood for a hot sandwich but not so much for you're stuck with leftovers or maybe a cold sandwich and hot soup! This is your place. Speaking of soup, broccoli cheddar in a bread bowl is my jam. In summation, check this place out if you haven't or go treat yourself again. Man, I worked myself in to a hunger writing this..
