came in here as a party of three got sat very promptly by the host our server, Kaylee later came to our table and got our drink orders. The two other people with me ordered beers and I had ordered a strawberry lemonade. She later dropped off the beers and I hadn’t received my drink which was fine. She looked a little busy. As a server myself, I get it it happens. We had ordered two appetizers to share a side salad and then one entrée of wings. Around 20 minutes go by. I still don’t have my drink and we noticed the table who was sat around 10 minutes after us receive their appetizers which coincidentally were the same ones we Ordered. Our server caylee later returns with the plate of wings and a side salad we had ordered. I bring up that I don’t have my drink. She apologizes and brings me a drink however it wasn’t the one I ordered. I just decided it wasn’t worth the effort and I was just glad to have something to drink at that point. Me and the two other people with me got through our plate of wings still no sign of our appetizers. Caylee comes and checks on us around 20 minutes later and we mention we still haven’t got our appetizers. She apologizes profusely and rings it in again around five minutes go by and we see the table behind us receive appetizers again. The table behind us looked a little confused So the next time caylee came around to check on us we brought up we still don’t have our appetizers And She looks very confused on why. As a server myself, I pointed out it might be possible. She rang it in under the wrong table. Which she did. We got our appetizers, finished our meals and then she later brought us the check. The check was only 30 something dollars Which was strange to us because for two appetizers two beers, one fountain, drink a plate of wings and a side salad it should probably be more Especially in this economy. We put the card on the table. She runs the card and comes back and says thank you. Have a great night. I run to the bathroom Before we leave and I come back to kayleigh and A manager at my table Because newsflash she ran everything in under the wrong table so she gave us the wrong bill So after paying $30 for the other table tables bill, which did get refunded we had to pay $60 Instead, which is fine that’s what we ordered. However, this experience was extremely Spent a solid two hours there just waiting to get correct food and the right bill mind you it wasn’t insanely busy as a server myself. This was just an extremely disappointing experience. I understand how this industry can be however, I don’t see there being an excuse for this bad service. Some people are cut out for this industry and others are not kayleigh is one of the ones who are not cut out for this industry. I hope the management gets her better training because what I saw...
Read moreIt was supposed to be a simple, easy afternoon; just me and my girlfriend grabbing lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, a place we’d been to a few times before without much thought. We weren’t expecting a five star dining experience. Just some hot food, cold drinks, and a bit of time to unwind and enjoy time together. What we got instead felt like we had stepped into some strange, customer-service wasteland straight out of the Twilight zone.
We were seated without much issue, and we placed our orders quickly. Everything seemed normal… at first. But then the wait began. Her food came out first. Not just a minute or two ahead; a solid ten to fifteen minutes earlier than mine. She looked at me with an awkward smile, clearly unsure if she should start eating or keep waiting. She waited. We both waited. Time dragged on. We watched as servers buzzed around, but ours seemed to vanish like a ghost. No sign of drinks being refilled, no check in, not even a glance in our direction.
By the time my food arrived, hers had gone completely cold. The steam had vanished. The fries were limp. The wings looked like they’d given up. She tried to pretend it was fine, poking at her plate like it was a museum exhibit, but the moment was already ruined. We weren’t enjoying a meal, we were sitting in a growing cloud of frustration and silence. The table next to us must’ve felt the same. We caught each other’s eye as if to silently say, “You too?” They were muttering complaints of their own, echoing our thoughts exactly. It felt like we were trapped in some forgotten corner of the restaurant, invisible to everyone but each other. No one came to ask how the food was. No one asked if we needed anything. Our drinks sat empty, just like our patience. Not a single effort was made to acknowledge the delay, the cold food, or the fact that we had basically been abandoned mid-meal.
When we finally got the check, it felt less like a bill and more like the final insult. We left disappointed, irritated, and weirdly sad. A simple lunch had turned into an uncomfortable memory of the restaurant. There are plenty of places to eat in this town and after today, I can say with certainty: I’d rather go anywhere else than return to this Buffalo Wild Wings. Boise? Maybe. This...
Read moreJan 12th visit. After reading the reviews I wasn't optimistic, but hopeful that my experience would at least be passable. It was worse! I went for a Birthday dinner for a friend. He wanted somewhere we could go, sit back, relax, and enjoy the game. Only one of those things happened...and it could have happened anywhere there was a television with cable. We were greeted at the door with a, "Welcome to Buffalo Wild Wings, it will be a 15-minute wait." While servers stood around and talked. After 15 minutes the two empty tables managed to push themselves together and we were escorted to our tables. "Your server just got here so it will be a few minutes before you'll get your drinks." No problem, we weren't all there yet. Drinks eventually got ordered and delivered - 15 minutes after placing the drink orders...good enough. Food. 1:07. That's an hour and seven minutes. From the time I ordered my cheeseburger and onion rings until it arrived at my table. Apparently it had been on the grill for the entire time, because it was black, crunchy, and dry...I could taste no signature spices, only char. Add that to a bun that was "lightly toasted" to the point of charcoal and you have a meal my dad used to make...we called it "Dad's burnt burgers." The onion rings we're good though...if you're looking for good onion rings...well, go somewhere else anyway! Nobody wants to wait that long for good rings! After eating, drinking, and waiting for my check for 30 more minutes I finally went up front to pay and leave. The cashier informed me that they would get my server, get the check, and let me pay...after waiting 10 minutes she then told me I could go track down my own server, get the check, and pay. EXCUSE ME!!! All in all I was there for two hours, I ate a charred burger, acceptable onion rings, and had a soda with 2 free refills. The damage was $17.58. I threw a twenty on the counter and walked out. I hoped for a better experience...don't waste your time! One of my friends and I were talking about another restaurant just around the corner...go there! I got burned in more ways than one on this outing. The manager is a hockey fan though. We...
