Texas Roadhouse — Restaurant in Twin Falls

We came in here with a party of 12.I called the day before they said they don't make reservations told to call the day of. So I called the day of and they tell me you have to wait until an hour before you're going to be here to call us .so I wait until an hour before and I call and they say oh I don't know if I can accommodate 12 people I'm like what I've called three times and you guys told me I had to wait until an hour before she said on this short of notice I don't know if we can get all of you in. Well it was my son's birthday and I just think this is crazy cuz this is always his favorite place to eat. So we wait and that's okay we didn't mind waiting a few minutes that wasn't the problem by the way our server was very nice had a great personality however the service sucked to no end. We finally got all of our drinks and we probably didn't get another one for at least another half an hour or so all of our drinks were empty no one came to check on us!.. then come to the salads well they get the salads mixed up and gave them to the wrong people and those people ate them not knowing anyways we let that slide then we've got plates literally piled up from our salads and whatever appetizers we had ordered and no one had room really to move around ..so we piled all the plates we passed them down and put them on the end of the table so it would be easy for the server to grab while I happen to be one of the people on the end of the table unfortunately every time they brought something there were different people coming to the table coming and going and none of them grabbed the plates they were literally 12 to 15 plates stacked up in front of me the whole time I was sitting there. When they did bring the food out they didn't know where the food went because they weren't the one that took the actual order this wasn't that big of deal people can tell people what they order Etc again we still have plates sitting there when they brought my food I didn't even have anywhere to put my food because there was so much dirty plates stacked up in front of me and no one and I mean no one has taken any plates away from the table at all no pre bussing was done ever. Back to getting our food everything was great but I literally could not barely even move to eat so I asked one of the girls that was walking by if she would please remove some of the plates so I can move and be able to eat my dinner. She said we'll come back and get those in a little while they're still sitting there literally everybody's plates or stacked up nobody barely even had a room to move on the end of the table there was two of us on each side. Then comes to checks they were all messed up they put wrong people's orders on other people's orders and charged other people for stuff they didn't have and it was just so unorganized and horrible. I would just say though that the waitress was nice the original one unfortunately she must have gotten busy doing something else and there were a bunch of different ones that would come in between and they would fill one drink and maybe not ask another person if they wanted one it was just very odd. I would never have another any kind of special occasion at this restaurant it's very sad because a couple people even bought us some gift certificates for there to come back another time as some of the gifts that my son had gotten. We hesitate to go back thinking the time before that the service wasn't that great either but we are okay with it we still continue to go because my son loves the place. I just wanted to reach out and let the manager know or someone else know that this place is really not the best for service. Almost everyone in our party complained and seriously that never happens to us because people in our party rarely complain. Will we be back? probably just my son and I as we have gift cards to use we are hoping in the future it won't...

Awesome! The steaks are wonderful but those boneless wings are just awesome. For me they are the main course. UPDATE: 09/03/2024 If I could give more stars I would! How about the ability to at least add a + like 5+ stars. Another great experince at Texas Roadhouse. This one was even better than the last. Once again my wife had an 8 oz sirloin but I got brave and went for the full rack of ribs. One word - delicious! Eyes bigger than stomach.couldn't finish and had to take half home. The food was really, really good but the cherry on top was our server. She was great, she was fun and she made our meal special. Her name is Kennedy and she deserves kudos for her excellent customer service skills. It is not often us old codgers have this much fun at dinner.It was worth stuffing ourselves with Cheesecake to enjoy our experience a little more. Thank you Kennedy! Update 7/17/2025 Started off great. Servers are always the best at Texas Roadhouse and this time was no different. Jacob was the ultimate, he will go far in anything he choses to do. We were lucky to have him around to make up for some of the food which was MEH! Buffalo wings which I chose because of good history were barely warm. Still glad I didn't have steak, my companions did, one overcooked, one a little too rare for medium. Only 2 of us had dessert. My Cheesecake was great but my wife's Granny's Apple Pie thing was really not good. I am surprised Granny lived to be Granny! Mostly sugar and corn starch. Don't get this for your kids, it will take them a week to come back down from the sugar high of that gooey mess, All in all a mixed bag on this visit, . The yam and beans were good, the Chili was great, should have just had more and called it good. Update: The owner did response, posted a link to contact customer relations with instructions. So i did, what to expect. Of course, there was no response. NO ACCOUNTABILITY. So I repeated the instructions, i could have made a mistake, did get an email/ response, and here it goes, stating they tried to contact me by phone the previous day. Surprised, I always got my phone by my side, no landline, no message left, and guess what, and call log - no missed call. They must think I am stupid, so I will no longer recommend this establishment, and I will not pay my hard earned money to someone who cares more about the money than his/ her customers. If I want a fast food dinner, I can always go to other places, use their drive-thru, and spend less.

This was the second time service was awful. We ordered our food. Salad came first before the appetizer. Within a few minutes, our appetizer showed up. So I moved my salad to the side because it goes with the main course. Did not even have a chance to take a piece of the appetizer. The main dish was on the table. So. Something had to give. Eat the appetizer, and the Prime Rib gets cold or pushes the appetizer to the side, eat the Prime Rib, and onion blossom goes in the garbage. My thoughts on this are very simple, you eat as fast as you can, like you need to hurry or you miss your train, pay and leave. Maybe within 30 to 45 min. In and out. Should rename It from "Texas Roadhouse" to "in and out Roadhouse" so my Primerib is cold 🥶 took it home. If I wanted to eat by myself , I would not have to spend that much money on dinner.
