Sky Bar — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I never thought I’d be writing such a review, but my recent experience at SkyBar left me absolutely disgusted. This place is not just a poorly run establishment; it’s a disgrace.

First and foremost, the staff illegally seized the ID of a 22-year-old friend of mine without any valid reason. This is not just unprofessional—it’s outright illegal. They had no authority to confiscate an ID, yet they did so with a smug attitude, leaving my friend humiliated and stranded.

But the worst part? The staff had the audacity to mock the military. My friend, a proud service member, was treated with absolute disrespect. The employees made derogatory remarks about the military, showing an appalling lack of decency and respect for those who serve our country. This behavior is beyond unacceptable—it’s offensive and downright despicable.

The rooftop views might be nice, but they’re not worth subjecting yourself to the vile attitudes and illegal practices of the staff here. If you value your dignity, steer clear of SkyBarThere are plenty of other places in the city where you can enjoy a night out without having your rights trampled on or your service disrespected.

We went to the igloo lounge for Valentine’s Day and paid $100 to reserve a month in advance. The igloos not exactly secluded. I could hear the ppl next to us 20 feet away talking and partying. And the ppl from the hotel pool could see right into the igloo. It wasn’t that big of an issue. There is barely a view. You can’t really see anything unless you’re outside the igloo. Now the igloo itself was cold. The heater barely got above 57 degrees the entire hour & 45 mins even though we set it at 75. The food was not good at all. I would give it a 4/10. It wasn’t nasty but it wasn’t good. We probably had 4 shareables since there isn’t entrees on the menu. Drinks were a little better like a 6/10. Service was amazing, I can’t remember the servers name but she was attentive and nice. There is 18% grat included but we still tipped additional. All together 4 shareables 2 drinks tab was about 130. Probably will...

Hilton really missed the mark this time. We were amped to hopefully see the view, and were thinking about hosting an event here in the future. There were no signs for the sky bar check in, so we went to the top floor where they told us to go to the lobby. The guy in the lobby had no front teeth making it hard to understand what he was saying. He was sitting at the walmart card table with a 2010 Samsung tablet he couldn't get to work. After telling us we had to wait because there were some difficulties opening the club, it opened at 1015pm. He explained he couldnt get the device to work so we couldn't pay with a card. He asked us to go get cash from the ATM about 20 feet away. We declined at this point so he said he couldnt let us in. To bad. Maybe they don't like money....
