We got a pizza here to go rather than get the individual slices because well let's face it I'm going to eat most of that pie. Anyway after taking it back to the hotel it was a very good pie It was, I would say, one of the better pies on the boardwalk. Of course it is a little expensive being the boardwalk is about $21 for a pie. But you have to figure out their paying rent here and it's not cheap. And we would rather buy from a local pizza place than a franchise anyway. The gentleman that took our order was very friendly and polite. I also saw him chatting with other customers making it feel like a real family restaurant. At the time we went they actually did have indoor dining, albeit not a lot of tables but enough for the current crowd. just remember when eating in any of these pizza places typically if you're going to get a few slices you might as well just get the pie because the ones that have been sitting out selling individual slices aren't usually as good. That's where we find the difference in opinions on pizza places in the mall and on the boardwalk. You're better off getting a...
Read moreWe ordered a pizza for delivery and it was delicious!
However, the service did not match. The guy who was taking orders on the phone was rude to both my husband and I. I called the first time and they asked “ pick up or delivery?” And I asked “oh, do you deliver?” . Then he said “ pick up or delivery “ again. I responded delivery. He again said “pick up or delivery, LAST CHANCE!” I responded delivery again , and he acted like he could not hear me and hung up. My husband called back and said delivery and told him the address. He also asked about the different sized pizzas. The guy on the phone said “we only have one size and it is posted on our menu online “ but the way he said it , he expects everyone to know what size pizza they have? This is a very touristy area and I feel like not many people may know that only one size is available. He just came across extremely rude for both phone calls. If you don’t like customer service, find a new job.
The delivery driver was super sweet and friendly. I made him aware of the situation and he was appreciative of...
Read moreI was there just the other day in the afternoon. I was greeted by an older woman with gray colored hair and a bunch of hair clips under her bun/ pony tail who barked “how can I help you?” like I was an animal. For reference, I am a relatively petite young woman who is not white and I had my hair covered for personal preference. I noticed pretty quick she did not speak to the other people around me who were white in that manner. She was quite polite and gracious with them. The pizza was not amazing either. It was only ok at best. She quickly grabbed the two slices I ordered for my party and plated them without heating them up, it was cold and tasteless. I am born and raised in NYC and I can easily recommend a slice from Crazy Junky. I went there more than once. I have been visiting the Wildwoods since I was a child with my family and I was just astounded by the racist treatment I experienced at this place. It honestly totally ruined my day. I will continue to take my...
