Waited 40 minutes to be seated. We expected a wait since it’s a Saturday morning in the summer. Server was prompt to come over and quickly take our drink & food order. Food came out within a reasonable amount of time. Very small portions, pancakes, and omelet were okay (not inedible, but definitely not anything to rave about). Everything was pretty bland and dry. The breakfast potatoes were all either very undercooked and some extremely overcooked, I don’t even think they added any seasonings to them. Our server gave us two to-go syrup packages which wasn’t nearly enough for the two orders of pancakes. She didn’t return for quite a while. We asked for more syrup and returned a side of scrapple that had been extremely over cooked, also ordered a mimosa. She finally returned with a new side and once again had to ask for syrup. At this point the pancakes were already cold. Took forever to receive our check and when I asked to make sure she didn’t charge us for the mimosa we never received she asked if I would rather have it to go (for the cost I wanted to enjoy it with my breakfast) waited once again for her to return with our credit card. Our server was friendly and the atmosphere is very nice (we sat outside). We most likely won’t be returning since the cost just doesn’t fit the value of the breakfast. We understand places can be extremely busy in the summer. Maybe they were extremely understaffed since honestly the restaurant was pretty empty.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ My wife and I were thrilled to visit Stella's Cafe in Wildwood, New Jersey, drawn by their dog-friendly menu and inviting outdoor patio. As dog lovers, the idea of enjoying a meal alongside our furry friend was truly exciting. Upon arrival, we were charmed by the cozy and inviting ambiance of the outdoor seating area. However, that charm quickly faded as we ended up waiting over two hours before our food arrived, which was disappointing and dampened our initial excitement. When our meals finally came, the food was delicious. However, the portions were small, especially considering the high prices. While the taste and quality were there, the combination of lengthy wait times and the cost for such modest servings left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. Stella's Cafe has a wonderful concept with their pet-friendly approach and delightful outdoor ambiance. Still, the experience was overshadowed by the excessive waiting time and a price-to-portion ratio that did not meet our expectations. We hope they can address these issues because the potential for a great dining experience is definitely there.

I really wanted to like this place, but there were just too many negatives that outweighed the positives. First, upon walking in we were seated promptly right near the door, that was propped wide open even though it was 60° and raining. This door remained opened 95% of the time we were in the restaurant and left us all shivering. Another negative was the outrageous prices, which I get being high due to inflation but this is too far for what you get. Not only was it so deafeningly loud in the space, but the hostesses were wandering around blindly, in everyone’s way, and were bordering on making us all uncomfortable due to their hover-like nature in the dining room. However, the food was delicious, and our server was attentive and kind and did good at making the 45 minute wait time for our food feel less prolonged then it was.

MAJOR WIN!!! Where can I begin?? First and foremost the wait between the time we were seated and the time we placed our order was very short with seating time being around 4 min and then 5 min for our waitress Donna to come out and take our order. Just enough time for us to go over the menu and decide what we were getting... With this being my wife and I's first time here we both ordered the same thing as everywhere else or so we thought... The food here was nothing like anywhere else we've been to in a very long time. I had my usual omelette with sausage bacon and ham with cheddar cheese a side of scrapple and a cup of creamed chipped beef. My wife had 4 scrambled eggs and a short stack of french toast... Food was out to our table in under 10 min hot and absolutely amazing. My omelette was light fluffy and not only perfectly proportioned with meat in it but the quality of the diced ham steak, pieces of sausage, and bacon pieces was clearly evident as well. The seasoning in the eggs was perfect and stood out against the other ingredients in the omelette. My scrapple was perfectly cooked (I'm from outside of philly I know my scrapple!!) Crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside! Finally, my side of creamed chipped beef was very good with plenty of pieces of beef as well as a surprisingly light cream sauce... My wife's eggs followed right along with the ones in my omelette being incredibly light and fluffy and perfectly seasoned to stand all on their own. Their short stack of french toast wasn't dense and heavy like most places and had very pleasant tones of nutmeg and vanilla in the mix. Drinks were apple juice and a cup of very good coffee. We sat outside on the patio and had a great atmosphere even being right up against the sidewalk with leafy palms placed around the seating area to give a feeling of privacy from the outside world. The service we received was phenomenal!! Our waitress was attentive and we never wanted for anything that we needed to ask for while the bus girl made sure that our plates disappeared almost as fast as the food on them! Price wise it was cheaper than expected for a cafe as nice as this one!!

Side fact: They also are open to our 4 legged friends with a doggie dining menu with more than a few dishes on that menu as well, along with a blueberry infused bowl of water for our furry friends to wash their meals...

We come to Jersey Shore from Southeastern PA frequently. We chose Stella's because it was dog friendly. However, it was not people friendly. The dog's Bow Wow Bowl was exceptional compared to our meal. The Chicken Cesear Wrap was mediocre. It was overpriced for size and portion of chicken at $15.95. The side of French Fries we ordered had less fries than a large order at McDonald's or Wendy's. Instead of where's the beef, it's where'd the potatoes. It gets worse, the Sangria's, which they don't post or put the dollar amount on their drink menu were $19.00 each and they were absolutely disgusting since the wine was missing. Furthermore, I understand an upcharge for a credit card as opposed to cash, but a $72.62 lunch bill for only 1 sandwich, a $9.95 Bow Wow Bowl and 2 drinks should not be included. $10 or less yes. At least a gas station; Cash or Credit, discloses it upfront, Stella's did not. The dog got a better deal than we did. The waitress, although nice, was not professional and kept rushing us long with the bus boy. Lastly it was unprofessional for the mother inside the cafe loudly scolding her son because he didn't charge another customer for their meal because they were not satisfied either. I was relaxed and on vacation and I left quietly instead of complaining. I waited a day to compose myself and provide this true and factual review. In can understand why they're empty. We will never...
