Seems to be the Hub of the city considering it's proximity to Public transport system - Train Station, Bus Terminal and CAT Buses. The place is big enough to use for the many events that are here, the most recent being the WWE with a long queue of people waiting to get into the marquee. Friday nights during summer season they have the Food Market which is a great place to grab some dinner before you head home after work. There are many places to shop around or eat and drink coffee inside or out. Although on a sunny day you'd at least want the sun umbrellas put up. Bars, of which there are many, are not too far within 2 minute walk. Great place to people watch which is always interesting. Sometimes, like with a lot of places, including on buses, you'll get 1st nation people yelling, even arguing with one another and for me, this just adds to the character of Forest Chase. Everyone ignores this and don't bat an eye. Overall, I think it is a great place to hang. Sorry my pics don't really give you a good idea...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience with the $20 voucher promotion. While the idea is appreciated, the execution was poorly managed.
On Friday evening at Murray Street, there was only one staff member available to assist a large crowd, leading to extremely long wait times. I waited in line for almost 30 minutes, and the line barely moved—perhaps only four steps forward. Many people, understandably, lost patience.
The process of filling out forms could have been made more efficient, such as offering a QR code for online submissions. This would have saved customers from waiting for hours, which is especially challenging for those of us who work nearby and have limited time.
At one point, it seemed like there were around 150 people ahead of me. While I appreciate the offer, the experience was frustrating and poorly organized. I hope improvements can be made for future promotions to ensure a smoother process for...
Read moreJungle Maze School holiday event Forrest Chase. It was a nice atmosphere but having to wait over an hour due to the line wasn't too pleasant. Areas I thought the event managers could've improved was the allowance for prams and trolleys. I understand with kids it's sometimes necessary. I however found it a bit if a hazard as there was lots of people going both ways inside the maze and when you have kids adults prams and trolleys going both ways it was a little chaotic. Great experience don't me wrong it wasn't all bad. the kids loved it. Just a little stressful for the parents. Alert to those who don't handle crowds too well. One of the staff said they had over 2000 people attend per day. So be well prepared. If you need a toilet break get someone to hold your...
