Honestly, I would give this experience a 10/5 stars if I could 🫶
Let’s start with the word “Ecotour”. I booked it because I was drawn to the idea of an ecotour along with the Eagle Tour package, but never in my wildest dreams would I be expecting a company that truly values the eco system and sustainability as much as it does. Everything from the initiative to the ways the company is trying to minimally impact the environment while providing us with ways to enjoy nature is impressive and awe inspiring, to say the very least. I feel very good giving my money to a company like this just based on what it’s doing alone.
Now onto the tour and the staff. Wow is the summary word. Just wow.
I have an intense fear of heights and this was a surprise birthday gift for my partner (and half challenging myself to do this to conquer my fear). I had to switch the tour up last minute because our original plan fell through, and the person on the phone (I’m sorry I forgot your name- but you helped me on June 30th at around 11 AM!!!) was incredibly kind and accommodating, which really eased my anxiety for a last minute plan change. Thank you thank you thank you 💛
On the tour itself, I can’t thank our guides Amy, Amber, and Jacob enough for making me feel as comfortable as I did. They walked me through every step and chatted with me and my partner in a way that makes the day extra special. I don’t think I could’ve done this without them (sounds dramatic I know, but wait until you see me on a daily basis with heights + how stressed I was that morning because my original plan fell through 😂🤣🫣).
Do it. Just do it. Do a tour with them. You won’t regret it. This is an experience of a lifetime with a company that cares ✨💫
Can’t wait to book another tour with yall soon (have I conquered my fear of heights and caught the...
Read moreFrom the breathtaking landscapes to the heart-pounding excitement, our time with Ziptrek Whistler was simply a 5-star experience through and through!
Setting foot in Whistler, we had high expectations. What we didn't know was how those expectations were about to be exceeded in the most exhilarating way. The course, the equipment, the entire set-up was professionally managed, but what truly set the experience apart was our fantastic tour guide, Alyssa.
Alyssa was the heart and soul of our adventure. Her vibrant personality, sharp wit, and great sense of humor instantly set us at ease. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable, ensuring we felt safe and informed at every stage, but she also made the entire experience incredibly fun. Her funny anecdotes and constant encouragement helped even the most nervous among us to relax and truly enjoy the thrill of the zipline.
What makes Ziptrek Whistler exceptional is their ability to turn an adrenaline-packed activity into an intimate, personalized experience. Alyssa was a great embodiment of this, making the time between ziplines just as enjoyable as the rides themselves. Her passion was truly infectious!
Ziptrek Whistler, you have a real gem in Alyssa, and because of her and the fantastic experience we had, we will undoubtedly be back for more high-flying adventures. If you're in Whistler and searching for a unique, thrilling, and thoroughly enjoyable activity, look no further than Ziptrek. You're not just signing up for a zipline experience, but for laughter, unforgettable memories, and a chance to see Whistler from a whole new perspective.
Thank you, Ziptrek Whistler and Alyssa, for giving us the adventure of a lifetime. See...
Read moreOur family loved every minute of this. We did the Falcon tour as this was the only option during our visit due to ongoing social distancing restrictions from Covid 19. The operators were all very professional and made us feel very comfortable that we were in good hands. It started with a harness fitting, then a trip up the gondola to the mid-way point on the mountain. There was a fair amount of walking involved, with some slightly sketchy portions of trails, so do wear good footwear. Trails were all clearly marked and paralleled a good portion of the mountain bike trail. Our tour involved 3 zip lines, the first of which was very long and extremely fast. The walk to the next zip line was up in the canopy of the trees and included boardwalks, floating wooden bridges and crows nest lookouts. Lots of great spots for photos. You can take as much time as you want in between the zip lines so you can enjoy the scenery. It was definitely a bit weird with every one wearing masks and hand sanitizer everywhere, but they are taking things serious and it was great to have this opportunity. We all enjoyed the thrill of zooming 50-60km/h down the zip lines and the automatic braking system. You literally need to do nothing (other than walk), so you can just soak it all in. I would highly recommend for anyone on the fence about trying it. We booked our tour online very easily. There is an online waiver to complete prior to showing up which was quick to fill in. Post tour, you are get a discount at a nearby pub to enjoy a few beer or a nice family meal. What a unique way to experience nature and get your...
