"I See What You Mean" by Lawrence Argent is a big public art piece in front of the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. The sculpture also goes by the name "Big Blue Bear" as it depicts a big blue bear looking into the convention center. It is a massive structure when you look at it up close, as it is 40 feet tall and visible from down the street. If you come here to take pictures, I think it is best seen from a distance. Given the size, it would seem to be difficult to take a picture up close with the entire sculpture in the shot. I will say that this is a must see if you are visiting this area's attractions, including the convention center, opera house and...

The City of Freedom—Denver, USA 🤗 Your ultimate guide to a one-day tour in Denver is here! 🚌 Denver’s free bus service is the only one still successfully operating in the U.S., with a 31-year history. The free buses mainly run along the commercial and arts pedestrian street, covering over two kilometers from Union Station to the Civic Center. It’s the perfect way to explore Denver’s most vibrant downtown area. ⛲ Denver Civic Center & Civic Center Park Located at the crossroads of government, culture, commerce, and community, this stylish building (locals love calling it the "Little White House" with its golden dome) stands out beautifully against Denver’s skyline. The Civic Center Park is a historic 12-acre urban oasis for both visitors and locals to relax and enjoy. ✨ *I See What You Mean* Sculpture A towering blue bear peers into the glass exterior of the Colorado Convention Center. Created by Lawrence Argent (who also designed the *I Am Here* panda sculpture at Chengdu IFC), this playful piece is a must-see. 🎶 Denver Art District A neighborhood bursting with artistic graffiti, making every stroll visually stunning. The area features many restaurants and shops housed in repurposed warehouses, blending retro and modern designs seamlessly. We chose this market for a quick bite—it offers everything from fast food, fresh produce, seafood, pizza, to ready-to-cook meals, all at budget-friendly prices. After eating in the dining area, remember to clear your plates and dispose of trash at the designated recycling spots. 🎪 Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre 🔺 When there’s no show, Red Rocks Park is open to the public for free. Located just 19 km west of downtown Denver (a 20-minute drive with free parking). 🔺 The 868-acre park is famous for its 300-foot-tall red sandstone formations, dating back 290–296 million years. Its crown jewel? A natural amphitheater carved into the rocks, seating 9,450 people. 🔺 What makes Red Rocks Amphitheatre unique is its stage and seating, set atop 70-million-year-old sandstone. A dish-shaped monolith (Stage Rock) towers behind the stage, while two vertical red rocks (Creation Rock and Ship Rock) flank the audience, creating the world’s only acoustically perfect, naturally formed venue. 🔺 The park’s breathtaking landscape and legendary performances—from The Beatles to top symphonies—have made it Denver’s iconic attraction, drawing visitors worldwide. #Denver #TravelGuide #FreeBus #CivicCenter #ArtDistrict #RedRocks #Amphitheatre #UrbanExploration #Colorado #USA
