My husband and I recently had an amazing experience at this massage place. From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and inviting atmosphere. We opted for the couples massage package, and when we entered the treatment room, we were pleasantly surprised. I do not leave bad reviews but I want you to be aware of this place. My husband and I were in town and I chose this place based off of the reviews for a couples massage. We are not locals and did not know the location of this place is not in the best area. We arrive to a place that was sketchy. We walk inside and the waiting area is filthy. The lady at the counter was very nice. I had to go to the bathroom before my massage and the bathroom was also gross. When I went back to the lobby to wait, there was a homeless man sitting in one of the chairs. He was also not very clean. On his hands he had tattooed “aids”. Of course that made my husband and I uncomfortable. They called him back before us and they didn’t clean the seat he was in. We finally get called back to our room and the room was also not very clean. I really debated about taking off my shoes to walk bare feet to the table. The table was cold and just a thin sheet to cover up yourself. The massage itself was rough. The massage person was very nice but it was clear there was a language barrier. Both my husband and I put down on the sheet certain areas we did not want to be touched due to surgery’s. But they used their elbows in those places and it hurt! We did a 90 minute massage and by the end of it, we were so sore. We did leave them a very nice tip too. They did work hard on our massages but it was not relaxing at all. I seen this place listed with great deals on Groupon for sometime and thought it would be a great gift for my husband on Father’s Day, however when setting the appointment they refused to allow me to use the Groupon deal that was advertised for a couples massage and wanted to charge me full price $140.00. Since it was a gift I really wanted my husband to have I went through with it. They charged me a $40 deposit and remaining on day of service, which was before services were done. Room was nice, they were welcoming when we arrived. Like any other massage they have you fill out a chart on areas of concerns for me were my feet and back and my husband his shoulder and knee. My whole hour was focused on my back with a 2 min knuckle rub on my feet then slapped with a wash cloth. I was told we would receive back scrub and hot stones with the price which they wanted to debate about. After I was lathered many times on my back with oil they placed the hot stones for a few seconds then slapped scrub on for a couple minutes then wiped with the towel. My lady NEVER said a word to me through the whole massage until it was over and she was standing at the door asking for a tip.
