My husband and I visited Savannah this weekend for a little getaway and took a tour with Michelle. She was so interesting and full of knowledge about the city's history, horticulture, Savannah's role in movies/TV.... the list goes on and on. She also did a great job at tailoring the tour to our personal interests. She was also full of other recommendations of things to see and do, places to eat, etc. around the city. We will definitely tour with Michelle again in the future!

Michelle drew us into easy conversation about Savannah’s history with her extensive knowledge and friendly style. As we strolled through six public squares we were introduced to the people and events that filled these neighborhoods as the city expanded during the colonial and civil war eras. The charm and beauty of Savannah’s commercial, religious and residential architecture, set among the live oaks, is truly captivating.

I am in shock and very disappointed with this business and the Customer Service I experienced. My Boyfriend and I just recently booked our stay in Savannah (due to a Family emergency, it wasn't clear if we could go or not). I purchased a Groupon for the Savannah Belle Walking tour and was really excited to participate. I read the fine print which stated a reservation is required, but it did not say that the reservation had to be made a month ahead nor did it mention that the complete tour was SOLD OUT for November and there are no more spots for public GROUPON TOURS during the time frame from the 11/17/17 until 11/26/2017 available. After asking if there is anything that could be done for me, I was informed by the Customer Representative, that if I wanted to spend $150 dollars there would be a private tour available for the 21st of November at 9am. I do understand that it is Thanksgiving week, and there are a lot of requests for tours out there, but it was the way I was treated as a customer that I didn't appreciate at all! When I called to obtain the information about booking the tour, I wasn't even asked when I wanted to take the tour, the first thing I was told by a female Voice was that there is nothing available and I should immediately call Groupon for my Refund because she couldn't help me since it was like "Asking McDonalds to return a Burger that was bought at Burger King" - (keep in mind, I didn't ask for a refund, which confused me even more). She kept making references to the "cheap price" of the tour offered on Groupon and that I should't be surprised that there are no spots available since the Tour is actually worth $40 and not $17. The last thing I was told was to just book some other Walking Tour around Savannah, that there are plenty to choose from and I would see how expensive the other places are compared to Belle Walking Tours on Groupon. That was the end of the call. All I can say is that it really is a shame that Customer service has come to this level. I am not a complicated person at all and am open for conversation and explanations. I work with all different kinds of people every day and I know how it can be if people just want to complain all day long, but I NEVER let something that a previous customer did to me or said impact the way I treat the customer after that one, to ensure the Customer is receiving the best service possible. Right now, after this phone call I feel as if I was aggressively blamed for something I didn't even know I did wrong and treated as if I didn't matter because of the little amount of money I spend on a discount site like Groupon. Not a...

The Savannah Belle Walking Tour offered a perfect introduction to the history and architecture of beautiful Savannah, Georgia. The tour guide is a local and a true professional. She knows her history, particularly Civil War and American Revolution, and pointed out many delightful and unique hidden treasures throughout the tour that we would have missed otherwise. For movie buffs, the tour includes the filming location of many movies. This was a delightful 90-minute walking tour of the the historic district from Reynolds Square to the Colonial Park Cemetery. Some tips: wear good walking shoes and hat, bring water, use the facilities before the group departs. Itinerary note: This is a fantastic "overview" tour that does not linger too long in one spot, and at the same time didn't feel rushed at all. While the guide shares details about many of the historic homes and churches on the route, the tour does not include entrance to museums or churches, and does not enter Forsyth Park or Colonial Park...
