Garden On the Square — Local services in Savannah

Absolutely the BEST! 3.5 weeks before my daughter's wedding, the florist basically went MIA. We had no idea what she was going to do, wouldn't answer her phone, would only reply via text - I'll get back with you in an hour. So every hour, my daughter would text her and no reply. We gave her til 5pm to get back to us and nothing so we fired her. I had tried Whole Foods in Savannah but the florist there said he couldn't do a large wedding party and 12 centerpieces. So I got on google because the 2 placed he had recommended were either booked or just way out of my budget and I found Garden on the Square. I spoke with Julie and explained what had happened and that now, we were 3 weeks out. She said she could do the centerpieces but not the bridal party (16 plus the bride and groom). I said - that would be amazing, here's my budget, I like this on your website - can it be done? She said yes! I sent her inspiration pictures of what we wanted on our budget (since the other florist still had our deposit). She ordered the flowers and I did not know what we were really getting until I got to the venue. Let me just say she NAILED it!!! My vision (and my daughter's) for what we wanted was exactly what we got! Thank goodness I managed to do the entire bridal party, parents, arches and cocktail tables. There was no way I would have been able to do what Julie did. I cannot recommend her enough!!!! A million thanks!...

Garden on the Square surpassed my expectations!! I knew flowers were important to me and I knew I wanted to spend a little more money in this area. Not only did Julie, the owner, understand my visions, but she executed it flawlessly. At first, I felt guilty spending so much on flowers, but Garden on the Square was worth every penny. In addition to the gorgeous flowers, votives and decor they provided, the team came early and stayed late. Our wedding ended at 11 pm and Julie and her team were still there breaking down till 3 am. I think it also speaks to the quality of the company when the owner is there from start to finish personally handling the job. Garden on the Square even put together a mock up of my flowers together when I visited with them at their shop about a month before the wedding. They had saved a few flowers from different jobs so that I could see a mock up of my perfect flowers. I think that was above and beyond what most vendors would ever do for a client. The wonderful ladies at Garden on the Square helped to make our 10 year wedding anniversary special. Before our flight from Texas I called ahead to see if they could work with our hotel to decorate our room with flowers. They were so easy to work with and took all the stress out of trying to coordinate it all. I loved it when the lady on the phone asked what type of flowers I wanted, and upon hearing my hesitation she said forget that, what’s your budget and I’ll make it as beautiful as your wife deserves for that amount. SO easy.
