Marche de Macarons — Restaurant in Savannah

This is the only place that I get my Macarons because they remind me of my childhood when my grandmother and my aunts from Paris would make them and I loved looking at the colorful creations they would make. I haven’t been to Marche de macarons since the pandemic. Since I was downtown I decided to get some macarons today. First thing I would like to say is that I always have a wonderful experience whenever I have visited this shop. In fact, in the past when I visited it was a welcome reprieve from a long day at work…I looked forward to coming in and getting a little reminder that these Macarons make everything all right. Their merchandise is the coolest too! Well todays visit proved the opposite, customer service seemed a little edgy and I brought my box from my last visit unaware that I couldn’t reuse it because I was met with a sharp reminder from the young lady getting my macarons (my own fault for not using common sense) even still when making decisions on which ones I wanted the young lady helping me just seemed rushed and annoyed. Not to mention my Tybee turtles were very hard and didn’t seem chewy like they normally would be. Overall this is the best place to get quality macarons and I don’t think any other place can top them. Everything about this place is wonderful to me! I absolutely love their macarons BUT….When you know better you do better. Being a business owner I understand that every business has its days and maybe today...

Nice little shop. It seemed clean. The macaroons were a bit sweet. Still on the search of the bakery where you can get macaroons for $1.50 in Savannah. These were about $2.25 per macaroon. The box Is extra, I was told after the fact!!! I was under the impression that when it said, for example, "12 macaroons (box)" that meant it only came in a box, you have the option to get them boxed or put in a bag. Take cash.

The total was 50.83 for 26. I got one of each. The workers were nice, I had a incident at the shop, my bank wouldn't let me swipe my card in your shop, everywhere else it did, but not in your shop. Even afterwards. It was weird. But they were really patient and polite!! Thank you for the...
